Wish this was a thread earlier in the offseason. It’d be nice to visit it at the end of the season and scroll through the relentless never stopping takes about the Bills being done

The larger question is this….Why, when I pay to watch games every season, do I even have to listen to the inane ramblings of dipshits announcing the game?

Reading Buckys assessment the guy seems to have a porn level woody for Leslie Frasier and the loss of Tremaine Edmunds.
In addition Buckys massive career as an afterthought receiver has given him the ability to diagnose Diggs will be triple covered and no one else on the Bills can get open. So of course the Bills will now miss the playoffs.

You just have to realize that everybody is entitled to their opinion ... and if their opinion doesn't match yours, then they're idiots.

Just smile, walk away, turn the channel and find an intelligent form of life.

This is hardly a solution though is it. An option to turn off the commentary would be better so if people wanted to they could just see the game with the crowd noise. Does this option exist anywhere? If so I've never seen it.

Personally I don't mind the announcers, even the bad ones I can live with.

This is actually getting absurd. Among much more, Brooks says he has a hard time envisioning us making the playoffs.

So many problems he mentions here as his premise are, in my opinion, baseless.

That Bengals loss seems to have done a real number on everyone not named Kyle Brandt or Peter King.

In my opinion, Bucky Brooks has zero original ideas, or opinions. I think he mostly reads what other people say, and regurgitates it onto his column. At this time of year, that means he’s spitting back up all sorts of clickbait hot-takes. And as the season progresses, it transitions into restating the obvious.

Lazy journalism.

It's really difficult taking Bucky seriously considering what a horrible football player he was. And as others said it just doesn't matter. Turn off the noise and let the season begin.

Even Beth Mowins? I hope we never get her again.

Agreed.  And this whole thing may be scripted by TV and force Bucky yo say what he said

It'll get clicks from angry Bills fans and that's what journalism/talking heads have come down to.

Man, Aaron Rodgers is getting enough reach rounds this morning. He should be good for a year.

Does he even follow the team at this point?

Mooch, Frelund and Warner pick the Bills. Eisen, Drew (I think) and the Crackhead take the Jets. They seem to think Rodgers is gonna be the reason the Jets make the playoffs and the Bills don't. Gonna take a lot more than that gas sniffing wacko to get them there.

Last night I was listening to a show with Starks and Lance Medow.  Almost turned it off because Medow to me is an annoying twerp.  Anyway, they are talking about our last drive before OT and the twerp is asking Starks why we took a couple shots down the field instead of gaining a few more yards to give the kicker a shorter field.  And Starks comes up with a gem:  that it showed we had no faith in our kicker and that it was a further sign of dissension on the team.

Well.  Max, did it occur to you that they took a shot or two downfield to win, knowing that if it didn’t work they had complete faith in their kicker from 50 yards?  A faith that was jystified?

The incessant need to fill 24/7 radio with guys to spout off opinions is either hysterically funny or ridiculous.  Not sure which.

Jets talking heads on TV now going absolutely bonkers, and Mangini heads up the list. In what universe does a team as talented as ours lose a non divisional game to the 2023 Raiders at home? They are 1-0 but seriously, they beat the Broncos by 1 point.

The line is -8.5 for a reason, and I hope that the Bills come out and crush the Raiders... not just to prove him wrong but to get back on track and for the mental health of the team.
