Sorry you were the only soul in WNY that wasn't there. I freely admit I was not at the game. I went over the border to watch the game from a bar I think in ft Erie. The bar emptied at half time. no I did not leave. I was at the Ferguson Hail Mary game with my brother and friends. I didn’t want to go but others wanted to beat traffic. We exited the stadium in the loyt and you hear the roar. I heard it on my smallhandheld radio listening to van Miller Edited April 13 by djp14150 1 Quote

I also bought tickets for my parents in a separate section. I left at halftime with my girlfriend. We went to the parking lot and fell asleep in my car. I didn't even want to listen on the radio. I didn't know the Bills won until my parents came to our car after the game and told us. They had stayed. Not proud of it. 1 Quote

NBC didn't even bother broadcasting the game in the WNY area because they knew everyone would be there. 2 Quote
eball Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Dr. Phil — nobody makes a living off other people’s stories more than this guy. I mean, I’m all for Josh getting all of the props he can get, but eff “Dr” Phil. 1 6 1 1 Quote
machine gun kelly Posted April 13 Posted April 13 First, to the OP, thanks for the piece from Dr. Phil. It’s hard to argue with JA’s perseverance, and growth. As far as the game, I had moved to Tampa for graduate school the week before the Bills/Giants SB, so no, I wasn’t there. I was at this sports bar with another Buffalo transplant at the Fraternity House. It was cool as the waitresses were all smoking hot, (fake bodies etc.) cheerleader mini skirts, and half tops and bla, bla, bla. Dave and I were so disheveled at the half, so we’re drinking to our sorrows, and then it happened. One score, after another, and we were so elated, we were high diving, and told our waitress and her friend were taking them to the Steelers game on a road trip, and well let’s say the night ended up having a really fun night. We then sobered up and realize we had full time jobs, Grad school, and I was competing at the time (powerlifting). We didn’t go, but watched together at the same sports bar the next weekend, and kept the party going with these girls. So no, I wasn’t there. Quote

Using Josh Allen's inspirational story as an example for perseverance and self improvement. I don't agree, unlike others. Josh Allen is one of most gifted QB'S ever to play the game, you don't improve arm strength. Allen's story is more about colleges ignoring his amazing arm talent. Quote

I was halfway up the aisle on my way out when Hooks caught the first pass to get us in Pats*** territory so I thought lets just see what happens. Watched the TD grab from from that very aisle. Glad I stayed. 1 Quote

I was only about 12 and Dad wanted to beat the traffic as usual. 2 Quote
