This video told me all I needed to know about how Collinsworth thinks:

There's a link to a creeper interview of his a few posts above yours.

If you're creeper radar isn't going off, check your batteries.

Wait, is this who Matthew McConaughey's character was based off of in Dazed & Confused?!

He's bragging about High School girls ages 14 - 18 liking him??? The only thing he's missing is the 'stache & he'd be McConaughey!

Collinsworth is awesome and was very positive about us last night.   the insecurity here is immeasurable.

Collinsworth has Allen on his fantasy team FFS!  HE DOES NOT HATE US

It doesn't matter if he hates us. That's not the issue. The issue is that he is extremely biased, for one thing, and says a lot of dumb things that either aren't true or are just asinine in nature. For instance, if it is a team he likes, every call that goes in their favor is correct, and he questions every call that goes against them, to the point that the bias becomes really noticeable.

I actually think he used to point out interesting football things, but these days he has packed it in and doesn't do the homework and doesn't try all that hard. He just praises the players and says silly or dumb things all night. I think some of the criticism has gotten to him so he tries to be a people pleaser now.

I actually like Tirico; I just think he's stuck dragging an albatross that he probably like secretly hates.

Tirico is better and smarter, but I find him smug and annoying many times, like he thinks he is smarter than everyone.

But my least favorite is Charles Davis. I hate everything about his commentary. Everything.

Collinsworthless is and always has been a moron.  His spawn is raw and terrible.  His company has probably the most convoluted formulating system to judge NFL players ever. And Tirico is such a company guy, he'll just go along with his nonsense. How he continues on Sunday night is a true mystery. Sunday night desperately needs new faces.

His worst commentary came when he tried to explain talked effect snow in Buffalo.  By the end he was like “they have all of these counties around here.”  How is that any different than any other state in the US?

Also the second Josh scored on that hook-and-ladder TD he brought up Kelce and Mahomes.  He is the worst

He's got his nose so far up the KC bandwagon that it's embarrassing for a national commentator who's supposed to show some semblance of neutrality, to act like this.

I'll fold this into the random head thread but this was so stupid I've got to point it up first.

So anybody with two eyes knows that Greg Rousseau has inarguably been one of the stoutest, best run-defending DE's in the NFL since about 10 minutes after he stepped on to the field. He's been beating the dogspit out of OT's for 4 straight years with virtually no let-up and both film and analytics consistently suggest he's arguably the best in the world at it.

He made a play last night and CreeperC said (paraphrasing) "Greg Rousseau, he's long and strong but it seems like he's finally starting to add a little physicality to his game"

Are you f'ing kidding me?

Even a cursory investigation into him at any point would suggest he's one of the most physical DE's in football and this is the analysis you want to provide during a game?

How in the hell has it gotten to the point where a network can gladly put a creepy moron that everybody hates on the air every week for so many years?

Note to NFL suits: Nobody is turning on SNF to hate watch him; he is not helping you in any way. People are literally turning the sound down (the sound your advertiser's are paying for) just because they want to watch some football on Sunday night. Ratings aren't going to go down and may go up if you get rid of him. Wake up and recognize that he is a net negative you dolts.

Epic rant.

Well played!

Some extra icing on your cake:

I know someone who works in production at the NFL...and he told me everyone hates him off camera there too.  Like he is a total d*ck to work with and doesn't treat people around the sets well.  Total douche

Tirico got a dig in when he commented about working with Garrett on Thanksgiving. Something along the lines of "someone pleasant to work with" I don't remember exactly what he said.  We all break balls from time to time and it always comes from somewhere, you're not just making stuff up out of the blue when you're trying to yank someone's chain because it doesn't have any weight. You always pull from something real, even if you're just messing around.

I heard that and was thinking the same thing.

He is a total Dbag. Have hated him ever since the 1981 playoffs when Cinci beat us. Incidentally it was the game before Bengals/Chargers that was -10 and wind chills in the -50’s. They ended up losing to the Niners in the Super Bowl.

As I recall, he committed a penalty and got away with it. May have scored on the play or led to a score. Was a complete dbag after the game talking about it and that smirk he has.

Long time to hold a grudge…but it is Collinsworth.

Jeesus man.  He's not that far from wrong- I don't entirely get the Chris Collinsworth hate.  GR's been a good draft pick- very good, and I hope he gets his next contract with us, because I really like him as a player, but by garsh he's not the only DE in the NFL.

From what I've seen of GR is that he is a better part of our somewhat porous run-defending DL... which is very odd, as talent-wise, I have no idea why our run defense seems to suck- coaching????

He's a Tenacious pursuer in all aspects of his assignment- total A on the effort, and a solid B grade as a pass rusher.  it's pretty obvious he disrupts plays like a mamajamma and seems to play harder than his results..

Anyway, that's what I see in a small nutshell- hope he retires a Bills all-timer

The problem with all of these top announcing teams is that none of them seem to realize the main attraction is the game itself and not who is announcing it. The product is the game and the players and the only purpose these guys serve is to sell the game. No one cares about their opinions or stupid anecdotes. Just give the play by play and let the color guy add a statistical tidbit here and there. That is what the best crews do imho.

The networks seem to be confused by it too by trying to market their personalities and constantly putting them on camera. I would prefer to never see who these guys are. They are doing their best job if I barely notice them and don't even know who they are.

Exactly!  Rants have a bad reputation, mainly because they are not done well - this is how it's done people!

People complain about Al Michaels being past it, but although he is shadow of his former self, he used to be really good. So now he is just ok. Collinsworth has been nothing but irritating since the get go. But now you can add dumb and annoying and loquacious. His non stop hyping of players as the greatest athlete/human being ever, is nauseating. He is in Dan Dierdorf territory on the one hand and getting closer to creepy Brent Musburger status on the other.

The 88 AFC championship loss still pisses me off. Never thought they were better and was happy when we blew their doors off on Monday night in 91 and wyche lost his mind

Never really liked the Bengals and again thought they caught us at a terrible time in 22.

Truth came out with burrow when he doesn't have chase or higgins and I'm glad they're not making the playoffs. Their fanbase got off the rails with the Hamlin situation and was glad KC beat them.

I always loved the browns and hate the Bengals

Screw Cincinnati

They weren't better necessarily but they were more experienced and the Bills had a "happy to be there"mentality at that point and didn't really know how to handle themselves at that point since they were really young
