The structure will be interesting with Chase and Higgins due contracts soon.  You've got to think Burrow made it a priority to make sure they're both going to be re-signed.  I think it's a good deal for both Burrow and the Bengals.

Pro tip, check the time stamps on thr "breaking news" you're trying to drop.  If it's more than an hour old, 99% chance we already know and have multiple threads about.

That JA contract looks better every day.

please stop. Every time a QB signs someone says this. Allen signed a market deal and will be back to highest paid when he signs a new one. He has a $47M hit next season and $56M the season after.

Haha, it happens every time a qb signs a contract.

“Man, that Johnny Utias’ contract really looks like a bargain now!”

Thank you .. Unless Allen is willing to play on a massive discount, all these contracts do is drive up the next one for him in a few years.

The only caveat I’d make for the Bengals specifically, is that their owner seems to have cash flow issues and it will be interesting to see how they operate now that they have a massive QB contract hitting the books soon.

It's largely for those who thought we overpaid Josh.  It was a bargain, and saved the Bills 10s of millions.

Considering where this franchise would be without him that’s a major discount
