Goff isn’t horrible. He’s a serviceable option and definitely a starting QB in this league it’s just dependent how valuable you rate and rank him. You don’t throw for 4000+ yards in this league being trash. 
 

McVay had complimentary pieces to pair with Goff in that SB run; Todd Gurley, Brandon Cooks, Robert Woods, Higbee and Josh Reynolds. The OLine was competent and they had a very good defense. 
 

Looks like Detroit are doing just that for their QB… let’s hope coaching can improve.
