In theory they are at least 3 years from dealing with that. Likely longer if you don’t think purdy is a franchise qb.

The QB plus superstar WR1 combo is definitely prohibitive in modern terms. (Allen/Diggs are nearly $75M next season)

I guess from there perspective they did just make a Mr. Irrelevant QB very relevant last season, so maybe they're not as worried about that. 🤷‍♂️

They guy is VERY good. But only QBs impact the game in a way that justifies this amount. Even him, Watt and Donald don't have as much impact as a Mahomes or Allen.
