BillsFan619
What's up, Bills Mafia. It's that time, woohoo! Throughout the upcoming season, I plan on doing these posts on Fridays after the final injury report comes out (or Saturday if it's a Monday night game). That said, based on Freddie's Dead's idea (thanks, bro), we're rolling out week 1 a little earlier. Back in May, I did a special offseason edition of "Excluding JA...biggest impact - Bills at Jets" after the schedule came out. I'm going to stick with my original prediction. Here it is: "My impact player is Tre day. With his injury behind him, he’ll be a force again and it will start right away against Rodgers. He’ll have some pass break ups and won’t even be thrown to a lot because he'll be so dominant against who he’s matched up with. He’ll either spoil Rodgers debut with a late game INT or keep him flustered and off track by having an early INT and some pass break-ups." Who ya got, Bills Mafia? (You can make a prediction even if you didn’t participate in the off-season prediction thread) For the people who did participate in our special offseason edition of "Excluding JA...biggest impact - Bills at Jets" here were your predictions. You can keep your original prediction or give a new one. @John from Riverside - Dalton Kincaid @Mynamemike - Groot @Bigvinny - On D- Elam with a few pbus; on O- Kincaid @NewEra - made a prediction for the season, not for the Jets game. His season prediction was Von Miller @Buffalo_Stampede - DeAndre Hopkins @The Wiz - Dorian Williams @Clyde Smith - Micah Hyde @hondo in seattle - Stefon Diggs @JohnBonhamRocks - Had a .gif of Von Miller saying "Bills Mafia" @Success - Damien Harris @90sBills - Aaron Rodgers @Freddie's Dead - Dalton Kincaid @frostbitmic - Jordan Poyer @muppy - DK2 (Knox and Kincaid) @Nextmanup - Aaron Rodgers @ganesh - James Cook @WMDman - Tre White @LyndonvilleBill - Dorian Williams @GreggTX - Dawson Knox Edited September 6, 2023 by BillsFan619
Doc Brown
Gabe Davis. I think he catches a bomb or two with safeties that struggle in coverage.
BuffaloBillyG
I did not participate in the original but I will take a stab at it (No, not OJ) here. I am picking the same guy I wanted the Bills to pick in the NFL Draft. O'Cyrus Torrence. For me, this game may come down to 2 key elements. 1. Stopping QWill from getting quick penetration and 2. Having a solid and consistent run game when needed. Both are areas Torrence can make a huge difference in. I think he holds his own in his first game against a top quality DT and is the key on the front line in this game.

He becomes a household name this year imo. Big things in store for the D if we can produce pressure without Von.

Time to permanently turn the light on. Weak ass OL. No better way to wreck a game plan then pressure up the middle. If he plays with his hair on fire like i expect, the whole rest of the defense will feast 3
Big Blitz
Dawson Knox. Run blocking - gotta run the ball on this team. And the Jets will be so focused on Diggs Davis and Kincaid - oh yea, we got this other TE that is a tank and has that chemistry with Josh. 5 catches 75 yards and 2 tuddies for Knox. Who imo is the biggest beneficiary to having Kincaid.
HappyDays
I'll go with James Cook. I think this game could be a slog fest. Every extra yard Cook gets that Singletary would never get is going to be the difference. 3
Freddie's Dead
Imma stick with Reuben. Josh is going to establish a nice rapport with the rook, and he will not disappoint. 4 catches, 75 yards, 1 TD.

Turf Toejam 34
I have to go with Spencer Brown---if we get the same happy feet Josh as we saw in the Steelers pre season fiasco it's going to be a long night. Same with opening up some room in the running game. This is a game where the Jests may try to exploit our supposed "softness" so we could use some toughness.

eball
Pretty sure I posted in that original thread that my pick is James Cook. I’ll stand by it. The Jests can be run on, and Cook is going to be a big part of the passing game as well.

Udubalum07
I will go with White on D coming up with a big pick, and James Cook on O.
Gregg
O - Kincaid. I think he will have a good debut. D - Tre. Keeps the Grandpa to Wilson connection in check.
