I didn't pay as close attention to Van Demark as I did the past two weeks but from a cursory glance I thought he held up well at RT. He has won the swing tackle job IMO.

Almost certainly. He got the start at DE over Epenesa today and has looked better than Epenesa in all 3 preseason games IMO.

Odd that he was 3rd guy in at RT though and go no run at LT. 

 

I agree with you based on what we have seen but odd way to play him today if they do think he has the swing job won.

Just once in one of these interviews I want to hear Beane say "Oh, man this guy really sucks. First one out the door come Tuesday. We may not even let him back on the plane today."

There is not 1 LB, not named Milano, that can cover on this team.  And now Spector is banged up.  MLB situation has never been worse on this team.
