Just read that 183 bodies have washed up on Lanai, the neighboring island as of this afternoon. People that jumped in the ocean to escape the flames and were swept away.

So, it clearly demonstrates that the priorities of the "mainstream" media are tilted.

I would like to think that you knew that and are just deflecting, but nowadays I don't know.

Democratic lawmakers who blamed the recent wildfires in Hawaii on climate change were largely silent in response to requests for comment when asked about evidence showing the state's main power company is responsible.

"The lawsuit alleges that the Defendants acted negligently by failing to power down their electrical equipment despite a National Weather Service Red Flag Warning on August 7th," Maui County said in a release announcing its lawsuit last week.

Hurricane winds without heavy rain to put out fires . Whoever kept the power on should be held accountable.

388 names

On Thursday, Maui officials issued a list of 388 names of those still considered missing, in an effort to slim down the number of people whose whereabouts were unknown — a number that at one point was beyond 2,000. Ever since its release, friends, relatives and internet sleuths have anxiously scoured the list

So, let me understand.  Turn off power to the hospitals?  Jails?  Traffic lights?  Sewage treatment plant?  Nursing homes?  Police stations?  Fire stations?  You're kidding right?

What a mess

Hospitals should have backup power , or is it better to burn down the city and let most die ?  If the fire is controlled first responders can respond.
