D Rock Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 I'd love to be there as well taking massive amounts of photos, but unfortunatley I'll be in Syracuse for the NYS track and field championships
udonkey Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 I'm unable to go as well, but hope that those in attendance will grace us with lots and lots of pictures. Anyone know the NFL Network coverage? When is it on? I don't have DirecTV yet, so I might have to make a trip to the sports bar tomorrow if it is going to be on.
aussiew Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 And the Comeback game replay tomorrow night is being hosted by none other than #89 (the "real" one). Oh Cindy - you're gonna miss your boy! I'll take lots of pics.

I'll take lots of pics. 349607 This will be the NFL Films version, and is reported to be a great summary of the game, if you like the Bills anyway. Does anyone have a DVD version of THIS show? I have the original Comeback on DVD, but this sounds like a keeper, too. I hope you plan on posting your pics, D !
pkwwjd Posted June 2, 2005 Posted June 2, 2005 I have the DVD, got it with the promo for the Bills credit card Very nicely done -- NFL Films production. Sets up the Oilers collapse with a recap of how they gave up a 98 yard drive the year before in the playoffs against ... of course, John Elway. His less famous 98 yarder. Actually not 98 yards, just started on their own 2 and drove for a FG.
aussiew Posted June 3, 2005 Posted June 3, 2005 I hope you plan on posting your pics, D ! My digital isn't working. So I have to do it the old fashioned way. Then I'll scan them in and e-mail .jpgs to whoever asks for them.
#89 Posted June 3, 2005 Author Posted June 3, 2005 There is now a possibility that I might be there later in the day. My sister might have to go back in the hospital - the infection from a bacteria in the dirt(Linda) not Mary I'm leaving with my Mother for convention. If Linda goes in the hosital I'll drive my Mom home to be with her Sat Morning and then maybe I can hit the Ralph id it isn't too serious. Prayers might help
#89 Posted June 7, 2005 Author Posted June 7, 2005 Hope all enjoyed the stadium this weekend. I saw the new uniforms on the news I like the uni's but wish I was there. 4 seats for the VIP session went unused because I could not get them to the stadium before I had to leave for convention. Worked the kids tent Sunday - Art was the only Waller I saw - Stayed for the Terry Buckwal show and it was really good. (ELVIS) is alive MORE family stuff I had Monday off and my older sister wanted me to take her to the casino. I thought good she is feeling better. Good thing she won a little $ because she is completely whipped. I took her home, she called her DR, I took her to the appointment and they then admitted her to the hospital again. Same troubles blood infection and fever from the dirt. LAMP - Then I went home and cooked - a huge thunderstorm went past us. There goes the electricity. I called Salamanca(city) and they had power so Mary and I went to the Casino for a drawing. Came home and still no power at 10. Didn't want to shower by candle light and it was HOT with no fan or A/C I wanted to go sit in the car with the A/C But all got better - the electric is back on the tree that fell 4 houses away didn't hurt anyone except a vacant house. Buffalo Channel 2 sent a crew down to film the storm damage and some flooding. I can't wait for the season to start.

aussiew Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 Those 4 VIP tix would have been great . So I sat down in the stands with the poor people and the humidity while some fellow wallers sat in the air conditioned comfort of the Paul Maguire Club But it was great to be under all that blue and white ticker tape when the new jerseys were presented.

aussiew Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 No fried bologna for me. But I did get a quick "unofficial" bowling ball shot in the parking lot. Yes, of course Pinto Ken was there!!
Dan III Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 So I sat down in the stands with the poor people and the humidity while some fellow wallers sat in the air conditioned comfort of the Paul Maguire Club 352713 In defense of those of us who were in the club.. we had to stay inside because we ate so much free food the humidity would have made us nauseous.
Mark VI Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 In defense those of us who were in the club.. we had to stay inside because we ate so much free food the humidity would have made us nauseous. 352772 Indeed !
aussiew Posted June 7, 2005 Posted June 7, 2005 And not one of you buggers risked that humidity to come out and say hello. Poor Aussie was crushed. I had to drown my sorrows in the parking lot with Ken, Scott, and some wild Canadian boys.
#89 Posted June 7, 2005 Author Posted June 7, 2005 Yes and I really tried hard to understand her on the phone.she had too much Cananian Boys or was it the beer?
