McDermott is a narcissist,  thinks he can think everything himself.  It's the biggest reason why the Bills never hired a DC cordinator which is going to be another huge mistake and getting quality depth at offensive line will be another huge mistake.  McDermott finds character guys and thinks he can transform them into great players if they have good character.  How many average talent players are on this team because they're good character guys,  you cannot think like this. Maybe Peters does not fit the good character mold

Having read this post was a huge mistake…

Wow, so how did he build a top 5 team in the NFL? The Bills have one of the most talented teams in the league.

Blue light special

It was Kmart. If we’re going to be jerks, pile on to Beane AND act like we know better, at least know what you’re talking about when trying to be clever.

I'm fully aware it was Kmart but thanks for the interaction. Dopey.

Allen is one of the most talented in the league. The rest of the roster, not so much.

Elite:

Allen

Diggs

Von Miller

Milano
Poyer

Hyde

Very Good:

Tre White   (may be elite again this year)
Leonard Floyd
DaQuan Jones

Greg Rousseau
Mitch Morse

Tyler Bass

Sam Martin
Reid Ferguson

Dawson Knox

Dalton Kincaid

Honorable Mention:  James Cook

Miller has yet to practice in 2023

Poyer & Hyde have looked old and slow.

Still hoping White returns to form

Rousseau has shown flashes but it's not in the “very good” category yet. Hopefully that changes this year.

Sam Martin is just an average & its not hard to find good long snappers.

That's simply not true.

Tre white was not very good last year. He was very average.

Jury is out on Poyer/Hyde/Miller/White being elite this year given age, injury, and decline.

Dude put Sam Martin, and Reid Ferguson on the list.😅

There is no question the roster as currently stands is very good… it’s also old and that can turn a very good roster into a mediocre one in a hurry…. And unfortunately outside of a couple players(Rousseau, Jackson, Cook?) the last two drafts have sucked at picking up the slack…. But Kincaid and O’Cyrus look really good. Even Williams has flashed.

My point stands the roster can look really good or really mediocre around an elite Josh Allen depending on how certain players respond from injury/age…. Not to mention the questions at MLB and offensive line.

From what I heard, Tre had a very good camp so we'll see.   I'm alarmed about OT to be honest.   Dawkins seems like a massive ?  could go either way with him and I'm inclined to lean toward him being average.  the RT is a disgrace.  Beane really needs to make a trade or sign Peters

Can’t see Beane doing it. I don’t think they want to sign anyone that is a big threat to take the starting role from Brown… They’ll go with Brown and Dawkins, hope Brown improves and Dawkins gets into better shape as the season goes on.

you're probably right....which is very concerning.  Spencer already had back soreness this summer again.  If that acts up + he was destroyed against the Steelers, it's going to be a brutal year for Josh vs edge rushers
