Herc11 Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 (edited) I don't see anything on NFL.com. buddy of mine sent me the link on Twitter. Pats DB went down without any movement. Scary situation, I can't find anymore info on it. Edited August 20, 2023 by Herc11 2 Quote

He didn’t give any movement and looked bad.. game was chippy but after that they are all hugging and talking. Edited August 20, 2023 by PatsFanNH Quote
NoHuddleKelly12 Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Can’t stand the Pats, but someone’s health is always bigger than this game, wish him all the best 🙏🏻 8 6 Quote

Is that a question? The nature of Hamlin's injury was the first time it's happened in a NFL game, if I recall correctly. This looks like a pretty typical head/neck injury, which happen every year. If it was a regular season game, I think they would've kept playing. 3 Quote
LeGOATski Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 I'd compare this more to the Kevin Everett injury 1 Quote

Huh? Its been a recurring issue for decades. Mike Utley was paralyzed in a game. Kevin Everett was almost paralyzed on the field Its sadly part of the game. 1 Quote
DapperCam Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 This reminds me of the Dane Jackson injury last season, including the friendly fire aspect. Hope he recovers quickly just like Dane did. 2 Quote
JerseyBills Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 This has to have some psychological impact on players Quote

PatsFanNH Posted August 20, 2023 Posted August 20, 2023 Update, he is flying home today with the team after being held overnight for observation. The Pats cancelled their joint practices with the Titans. I agree was 100% the right move to do as it effected both teams a lot. 4 1 1 Quote

Dane Jackson was clinically dead on the field. Not sure that has happened before in an NFL game, so I don’t see stoppages like that one becoming the norm. 1 Quote
