Yea.. I very much appreciate what Elon has done with the platform, but he shoots from the hip with his ideas quite a bit.

But if you really need it, I think all these kids on here who use Twitter are getting the updated info faster 

 

Luckily I'm a non-participant in social media outside of this site. The information really isn't worth joining the cesspool that is Twitter/FB/tictac for. But it's nice that others wade through the garbage and are willing to share info here!

I think X forgot to throttle Tweetdeck, so still getting lots of tweets (Xs?) there.  But the real spot is here - why LOOK for tweets when someone will post the most relevant ones for ya?

Twitter works fine for me. Other than hating Musk, what issues are people running into with Twitter that have made it worse for obtaining Bills news?  Just curious since I never really used the platform other than following the links from the training camp report threads here.

Bills stuff shows up in my news feed.  But mostly I get updates here.  

 

I don't need to know the minute something happens.  Usually, I find out in an hour or so and that's good enough.   In fact, finding out the same day is good enough for me.

I feel the same way, for the most part  Twitter is the proverbial race to the bottom / lowest common denominator cesspool.

I use Twitter.  One used to be able to not have an account and just view in a web browser, now it's broken if you don't have an account.

 

The best live updates of practice are Greg Tompsett (@GregTompsett) if he's there.  Cover1 is good.  Jon Scott (@JonScottTV).  Matt Bove (@Matt_Bove).

TBN seems to trend towards feature pieces rather than day-by-day updates, as far as I can tell - maybe I'm missing a reporter at TBN who does these.

 

It's important to note that the credentialed media evidently have restrictions about describing plays and so forth.

 

The uncredentialled attendees like Cover1, Astro, etc have the advantage that they didn't sign any restrictions so they say what they want.

Where does this sense of urgency come from?

 

What if your information arrived 24 hours late?  What would be the problem with that?

You'd always be 24 hours behind, so for you, it would all be "new" information to digest anyway.

I switch between a guy who once detailed one of the Bills player's car and Joe who works at the local deli.

 

I gave up on my neighbors coworker, who's sister was friends with someone who dated one of the coaches, just too much drama.
