RIP Pee-wee Herman

When I was in college me and my friends would stumble out bed Sat morning hungover and gather and watch Pee Wee's Playhouse - it was a ritual we did without fail.  That and George Michael's Sports Machine were the two shows I watched routinely all during college

My wife and I watched most of this last night.

I know it's only the 80's, but what a totally different era.

 

I forgot how much I used to love early Letterman and how big of a part of Pee Wee's success he was.

I'm starting a new job next Monday, and just told my wife that I'm going to fill up my pockets with candy to throw around the office when I first walk in.

There's still one in Syracuse.  It's near where I work so I drive by sometimes and have seen vehicles in the parking lot.
