Very cool story. When you consider that the Beatles were only a touring entity in North America between Feb ‘64 and August of ‘66 , it’s a pretty rare thing. Seeing both shows in one week had to be the height of live music at the time. The fact that audiences couldn’t hear the music above the screams was a huge factor in the Beatles retiring from live performance so early in their career.

Sierra, I’ve never seen this video, so thank you.  Very touching.

 

As far as the hug, what a different look than JK when he was young.  Josh comes across so genuine to the crowds.  No wonder he’s so beloved by fans.

 

My dream invite would be to sit down with him, McD, and Beane for a dinner.  It will never happen, but it’s a nice dream.
