Beck Water Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 Love Astro! Found this interesting The kick [I think he means punt] returners were Khlil Shakir, Darrynton Evans, and Deonte Harty. In that order. New faces, new places. During kick return drills they used some new faces, as well. KeeSean Johnson, Dane Jackson, Kaiir Elam, and Alex Austin showed a mix of familiar and unfamiliar numbers. Quote
K-9 Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 I believe he meant 12 personnel instead of 21 personnel when mentioning the the Knox and Kincaid sets. Quote
Shaw66 Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 Great stuff, as always. Just observations, but it gives a sense of what's going on. Thanks. 2 Quote
The Tomcat Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 love it Astro. Happy for you too. To do what you love Quote
PetermansRedemption Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 “It’s the most, wonderful time of the year!” Quote
Simon Says Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 12 personnel, not 21. Beane just reiterated on One Bills Drive that Dorian will stay at weak side LB,for now, maybe this season. 52 minutes ago, Beck Water said: Love Astro! I think you both might be confused. It wasn't written especially clearly. Quote

But someone else writing a camp commentary might already be trying to tell us who looked good and who didn't, whether Dorsey looked like he was in control of the offense, all sorts of stuff that is opinion or wishful thinking or whatever. What I like about what astro does for his readers is just tell you what he saw. 3 1 Quote
Nephilim17 Posted July 26, 2023 Posted July 26, 2023 "...you see first-hand just how fast and quick Deonte Harty is. The first play, a jet sweep right, is faster than McKenzie ran it, and it’s a TD." Love it. 4 Quote
