The Biden / Poroshenko phone call where Poroshenko tells Biden that despite there being NO EVIDENCE that Shokin did anything wrong at all,  Poroshenko asked him to resign anyway at Biden's request...

Yeah but Joke was just trying to root-out corruption because Shokin wasn't charging anyone.  Never mind that no one was charged with corruption, even Shokin, after he was replaced...

Again, shows the phone call by Trump wasn't even close to an impeachable offense and in fact was a good ask.

I am old enough to remember when conservatives were mad about the Steele Dossier because it was just unverified and uninvestigated rumors…

Biden $10M bribe file released: Burisma chief said he was ‘coerced’ to pay Joe, Hunter in bombshell allegations

by Steven Nelson

A bombshell FBI informant file containing a $10 million bribery allegation against President Biden and his son was released Thursday by Sen. Chuck Grassley, showing that a Ukrainian oligarch claimed he was “coerced” into making the payoff. The owner of Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings, Mykola Zlochevsky, told the FBI informant in 2016 during a meeting at a coffee shop in Vienna, Austria, that “it cost 5 [million] to pay one Biden, and 5 [million] to another Biden,” according to the redacted FD-1023 form. “Zlochevsky made some comment that although Hunter Biden ‘was stupid, and his (Zlochevsky’s) dog was smarter,'

IS this political opposition research? being used to spy on people running for office?

wouldn't the fact there is an FD-1023 kind of prove it was being investigated?

Not necessarily. At its simplest, it's just documenting an unverified tip from someone. If you call the FBI today and tell them that you believe your mailman is the Zodiac Killer, they'll probably have to fill out the form for that, but might not necessarily end up investigating it.

Without additional hard evidence or investigative report, this is no different in terms of truth at this stage as the unverified stories in the Steele Dossier. You can either believe both the Steele Dossier claims and this one, or neither. To believe one and not the other at this stage is just being partisan.

That changes, of course, if they can actually *prove* some of the claims. Congress has the ability to subpoena financial records and other evidence that could be used to verify the claims. If they believe the claims are accurate, they should do that. Hunter Biden is clearly a scummy guy trading on his dad's name, but you need more than this to show that Joe Biden himself was involved.

I'm sure that you can guess it.  (Hint: old Clinton response)

The White House Settles on a Ludicrous Response to the Bombshell FD-1023 Release

3f4fc1e4-e8ea-49f0-8adf-8d8985ae2094-450

On Thursday, the infamous FD-1023 form that has bolstered allegations of bribery against Joe Biden finally saw the light of day. Sen. Chuck Grassley released the document, which included direct quotes from Ukrainian oligarchs and was produced by a long-trusted FBI confidential human source.

As reported, some of the quotes directly implicate the Bidens in a scheme to stop Viktor Shokin, the then-prosecutor who was investigating Burisma. Joe Biden famously bragged on video about withholding aid from Ukraine to ensure Shokin was fired.

The revelations are far more extensive than described above, so be sure to read the full details.

So how has the White House decided to respond to this? The comms shop has settled on the claim that these allegations are “long-debunked.”

De-bunked by who, you might be asking? That’s a really good question.

Still, the press is doing its part, first blacking out the story completely and then showing up only to repeat the White House’s denials.

{snip}

The question of whether this would be a major story if it involved Donald Trump is rhetorical at this point. We all know the answer to that.

This wouldn’t just be a major story; it’d be the basis for an impeachment and would haunt the political sphere for years.

There’s no question the Bidens are being openly protected, both by the government and by the media.

Still, this story isn’t going away.

@ChiGoose comparing pee tape  allegations from a murky Russian source used to create a dossier paid for by the DNC that ended up in FISA applications and leaked to the media, to a FD1023 FBI document from an actual trusted FBI source that wasn't classified at all yet the FBI hid it from congress and the public anyway.

Why do you think it was hidden King?

@ChiGoose

Because it’s generally ill-advised to release unproven claims.
