Captain_Quint Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 (edited) I say modest because a 3bed/4bath even for $7.2mil, seems better than some of the decisions these players make (and celebs in general). https://www.ocregister.com/2023/07/10/superstar-nfl-qb-josh-allen-pays-7-2-million-for-dana-point-house/ Any positive or negative thoughts on this new move? Or just another step in the process for Josh. Someone whip out their tax returns so we can see who could buy this. Edited July 11, 2023 by Captain_Quint 1 1 Quote

Gregg Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 Does this mean he is going to demand a trade to the Rams at some point Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 Oh no! This confirms he's going to ask for a trade to the 49ers. Maybe we can get Sam Darnold in return. I hate this step of the process. 2 Quote
Dopey Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 That should be enough room for his baby mama and new kid. Hopefully things are peaceful this upcoming postseason. No distractions needed like last postseason. 3 Quote

The buyer bulldozed the house and built a new house on the land, which is what he wanted. California is a different kinda crazy with housing prices. 41 minutes ago, Captain_Quint said: I say modest because a 3bed/4bath even for $7.2mil, seems better than some of the decisions these players make (and celebs in general). https://www.ocregister.com/2023/07/10/superstar-nfl-qb-josh-allen-pays-7-2-million-for-dana-point-house/ Any positive or negative thoughts on this new move? pocoboy Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 If I was going to spend that much on a house, it'd be within walking distance to Jim Nantz's pitch-n-putt. Quote

Better to buy a house in a premium market than sink the money in some startup or crypto. Quote
SoCal Deek Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 Welcome (back) to California! And yes, that’s what a house on the beach in Dana Point costs. 1 Quote

SoCal Deek Posted July 11, 2023 Posted July 11, 2023 The funny part is that the article says that many buyers would pay $7.2m just to tear it down and build a new, bigger house. So there may indeed be more to come in ‘the process’. Again….welcome to California! 😂 1 Quote
