I read that the Senate is working to get legislation passed that can go around Tommy T to get people appointed via a vote. Here’s hoping.

Schumer could have  done this for the past 10 months.

Ask yourself why he hasn't.

Meanwhile, the reason for the delay is still being "clung to" by the Biden Administration.

1) Didn’t think that Tommy T would still be throwing his temper tantrum at this point

2) He needs 9 Republican votes to get it passed. That takes time

3) If this dude is seriously putting our armed forces at risk because of stupid abortion, then he needs to be removed from office to a job he’s better suited to, like ditch digger.

The reason is obvious, really not complicated at all. The policy changed because the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade it's as simple as that. So what happens after that a bunch of states pass a bunch of new laws restricting abortion. But in the military you have to live where you're told so they had to make a policy change so as to prevent the choice being taken from military women who can't chose where they live.

You can't exactly say it's a States rights/State by State decision and also force it on a group who can't choose the state they live in.

EXACTLY.

You keep claiming that he is “hurting the military “ but you still won’t acknowledge that it is due to the illegal actions of the Biden administration

Senator Tuberville: It's our right to force servicewomen to not have a choice about Abortion even though they have no choice about where they live, what no I don't care that they're serving our country.

I'm not advocating for one side or the other, but to claim they don't have a choice is inaccurate.

They have a choice,

The issue is whether the government is to pay for transportation for exercising that choice.

Not on where to live, if the Supreme Court decided it's a State by State issue why the hell should the Federal Government make life harder for service women, by not giving them paid leave because they happen to be assigned to a State with laws that don't allow abortion when if they were in a different State it wouldn't be an issue at all?

They will do it eventually.

But they don't want to suspend the "holds" policy in case THEY need to use it after 2024.  -----   very principled.

Democrats eye rare procedural move to
defeat Tuberville military holds

The Hill, by Alexander Bolton

Senate Democrats are working with Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.) and a handful of Republicans on a rarely used procedural tactic to defeat Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s (R-Ala.) blockade of more than 360 military promotions, a stalemate that has consumed the Senate for months. Democrats are looking at using a standing order resolution to move a block of more than 300 nonpolitical military nominees who have been stalled for months because of Tuberville’s holds to protest the Department of Defense’s (DOD) abortion policies.
