This conveniently ignores that Diggs left minicamp and McDermott said that he was very concerned.

You conveniently ignore that the Diggs drama was rampant before that...I mean you yourself have been hammering Diggs drama for months.

But more importantly, nothing you just said has any logic in it.  The comment  I made was that Diggs DID keep in IN HOUSE.  Which he did, McD publicly stating something is NOT on Diggs.  McD excusing Diggs is NOT Diggs going to the media and airing his grievances.

Is pretty shocking how people are so confused on the difference of Diggs personally keeping it all in house and not going to the media with it...and things leaking to the media or being stated by other people not named Diggs.

Oh, come on, man.

He screamed at Allen on the sidelines. He left the locker room, had to be dragged back in and left again. He took the Bills off of whatever social media like list that people who care about social media take people they aren't happy with off of. He didn't come to the offseason workouts. And then when he finally did come he didn't go on the field. He didn't answer questions and address it. One "it's no problem. I had some stuff to do and it's not mandatory," and the whole thing blows over. He sends out all these cryptic tweets. It went on and on, and that's just exactly what he knew would happen.

This isn't a media thing. It's Diggs stirring the pot (lightly, but he's stirring) and the media reporting it, which is their job. Fans were all over it too, why wouldn't the media be? This is news.

Oh, and sending those tweets and taking the Bills off of his social media thingamajig wasn't handling it in house.

This is news. If only one had happened, maybe not. But all of them? It's a guy who to some degree is unhappy, a guy who when previously unhappy forced himself out of one team. It's news. Most likely news that will disappear but that could have happened months ago with one "It ain't no thing" tweet, a tweet which never came.

No offense, this post makes so little sense I don't even really know how to respond to it.  You don't seem to understand the difference between a player keeping his grievances private with a team and other people who aren't the player revealing information to people outside the team, creating rumors, theories, etc.

  • Diggs didn't go tell the media he left the locker room, other people not named Diggs did that.
  • Diggs didn't reveal what he and Josh discussed on the sideline, media speculated on that.
  • Diggs didn't say there was anything wrong between him and the team on social media, that was speculation.
  • Diggs didn't remove any Bills information from his Twitter, only his IG where he already did it before and mostly uses his IG for fashion.  Media over exaggerated it and formed their own theories, none of which were ever once stated by Diggs.
  • Diggs didn't reveal anything about camp, McD did.
  • Diggs didn't not report to camp or sit out, McD excused him so they could all take a break from what they were working through.

Diggs kept the issues private between him and the team.  The fact there was a speculated issue may not have been private given what transpired, but he never once took to the media to share any dirty laundry publicly and kept all that in house between him and the team, where it STILL remains in house and NO ONE outside the Bills actually even knows what it was about even.

No, I definitely haven’t.

I want to add MORE of Diggs-players. We need more playmakers.

Worst i’ve said is Josh should be tougher on Diggs.

Shirley you don’t think that reporters wouldn’t have kept pulling at that thread regardless of what McD said or didn’t say.

Maybe so, but that’s not exactly a good reason for opting for the word vomit that McDermott ultimately put out there… and don’t call me Surely.

"They don’t really expect any funny business here," Fowler said. "They do believe they have this resolved.”

“I was told pretty adamantly that Diggs would not have been there for that minicamp practice on the field had he not felt that they were in a little better of a place than they were before that Tuesday,” Fowler said. “I do sense that things are positive, and I’m told the Bills fully expect him for training camp."

Go Bills!

Does this mean the Bills are no longer going to trade Diggs?

This is Diggs last year here. Just do what you need to do to get through the season and keep his value high. Wish we would have gotten a stud receiver higher in the draft though.

You’re best players should catch the ball more than 4 times when they get 10 targets

It’s weird how people keep bending over backwards to blame everybody except Diggs himself.

You don’t get it!!!! Diggs is the only Bills player who cares about winning!!!! He was the only Vikings player who cared about winning too!!!!

There's always been this underlying feeling of unease with Diggs (at least by me) because of how he strategically forced his way out of Minnesota.  Now it's just going to be amplified.  If it forces Allen and Dorsey to make a concerted effort to force the ball to Diggs I'm cool with that.  I just wish he handled his discontent in house like every other Bills player who may have had a problem.

How much more can we force him the ball than we already have? He’s coming off another 100 catch season. It could work the other way too if it gets in Josh’s head that he’s got to throw to diggs.

He’s not the one who threw a big ol’ can of gasoline on the fire, though. McDermott is to blame for that fiasco. He could have easily taken some attention away from it by making is seem like a nothingburger, but he chose to escalate it instead.

Correct but I feel like blaming McDermott is like blaming me for complaining my wife's mashed potatoes weren't quite up to her usual standards.  She's the one that messed up the recipe even though I may have esculated the situation by pointing out that instant mashed potatoes were better than this bullcrap.

Trust me, if you’re dumb enough to bring up your wife’s mashed potatoes in the middle of a press conference it’s DEFINITELY your fault. 😂

It was in the heat of the moment.  I expect better.

the way that Frazier left tells me that there was some internal fallout for how the season ended with a whimper despite having so much to motivate the team emotionally. If we don't reach the SB there will be changes

Diggs suffers from the wide receiver diva disease that plagues every star WR.

let’s see what happens when we have a down game or two during the season.

To be fair, the same can be said for several posters on this MB lol

I don't think it will be an issue. Seems like Diggs wanted to be heard in June and voice his opinion to the coaches as opposed to things blowing up in camp or worse yet in season. I don't like all this diva stuff but I would rather someone take care of this well before camp starts. The Bills have given Diggs nearly everything he wants a new contract and now his voice heard along with more investment in the offense. Hopefully McGovern, Kincaid, Torrence and the other additions are enough with or without adding D-hop.

Success, are you referring to opposing fans of other teams or overly pessimistic Bills fans?

Or both? 🤣

On what level do you envision those changes?  Do you mean roster, coaching, or even HC?

Agree with most of this, but he did handle it in house, Diggs didn’t go to the media and air any dirty laundry or grievances.

This outside drama has been created by the media over speculation because of frustrations he showed during and after the Bengals loss.

He kept what the issue was, and all he he dialogue with the issue between him and the team.

This. The ONE part that I legit criticise Stef for is the storming out at the end of the Bengals game before the coaches had delivered their end of game speech. That is unprofessional and as emotional as he was he HAS to behave better than that. But whatever business Stef had with the team or individuals has been handled in house. He hasn't tweeted anything explicit or done critical interviews.
