So if a rando practice squad player on the Lions throws $80 down on an NBA tournament one weekend, he's banned? Or it's only within league or during league play? My concern is a player could become addicted and would turn to the NFL (where they can actually influence their bets) in order to make up for the money they will inevitably lose betting other sports. I just don't understand why they make all sports betting illegal if you're employed by the NFL or an NFL team in any capacity. If you want to gamble, don't work for the NFL. It makes it very simple for NFL players to understand. Quote

I learned to play roulette I do in order to pass the time and make my money last. I can generally play for hours with that $100. In my time I’d guess I’m around even give or take a few $100.
