That logo doesn't work on a helmet. Good effort, though.

 

The current Lions logo is really well done. Their use of grey just sucks.

I did not know it was an old logo but even the standing buffalo is much more crisp. If they wanted it to be a throwback to their old logo then fine then. It just looks like an amateur freehand drawing of a lion.

True enough, although it was never used on a helmet before, so sort of semi-retro.
