Maybe just seemed longer with all of the practices and they always went back to the Ralph to play a scrimmage

 

 

I remember the olden days in the 80's. TC began around July 5 and ended around  August 15. Five weeks! Combine that with two-a-days, and it was a lot.

 

[There were also four rounds of cuts after each of the four pre-season games on a Tuesday: to 70 players, then 60, then 50, then 45. No practice squads.]

Enjoy it while you can.  Get the feeling that once the new stadium is built they might end that relationship.
