78thealltimegreat Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 I would love it but man Dalvin is really going to have to come down price wise for a chance at a ring to play with his little bro Quote

machine gun kelly Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 We’re not going after Dalvin. It’s a nice story, but he wants $ like every other RB, we have a nice trio in Cook, Harris, and Murray. That’s a nice combo. They can save as much as possible Murray for December unless Harris gets hurt. Cook does look good. I think he may breakout this year. 1 Quote

Even if we hadn't signed Harris, Murray, and Evans - they spent a 2nd Round Pick on James Cook to be the guy this year. Bringing in his older brother would mess with that development and confidence that this is his team and his starting job. 2 Quote

His brother is the one that would have to get used to the decreased workload. They'd compliment each other just fine. Quote

The bounce he took at the goal line was nice, that looked like an inside run from the blocking, nothing there, saw it and made it happen. I’m encouraged and I’ve been a hater of that pick. Hated the pick too but he put on size and ran a little more aggressive. That’s always been my problem with him, he shies away from contact and that’s why he’s not very good in pass pro. If he can change his physical game, he can be a very effective RB. Let’s hope 1 Quote

Paul Costa Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Becomes much more likely every day Davin becomes a Bill. He won’t get the contract he wants. He can come to Buffalo 🦬 play with his brother & have his mom come and hang in Buffalo 🦬 for the year. They are a close family and would be a wonderful story. Davin can go get his last contract after our Super Bowl Party 😀 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 If he remains unsigned in a few weeks and Harris is still banged up, this seems somewhat realistic. I'm indifferent though. I like Latavius Murray enough that I'm good with him being RB2 1 Quote

billsfan89 Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Interesting that he hasn't gotten signed yet. I was thinking the Jets would make a play for him, they have the cap space to make a decent offer and they could use a playmaker in the backfield while waiting for Hall to come back to form. Then I thought Miami would try to sign him. But nothing materialized, if the Bills were to go out and get him on a cheapish deal that would really up the skill position level on the offense. Quote
Warcodered Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 At this point he's got to be in the emergency injury replacement stage of Free Agency I'd think. 1 Quote
boyst Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 So two thoughts: 1) there is something we don't know that teams know which keeps him unsigned 2) he has his own asking price and expectations so this is entirely his decision. I lean to #2 Quote
