I've never been able to get giphy to work for me.  It always says the size is to big (something I'm not used to hearing)

1) pick your gif of choice off giphy

2) click the paper airplane "share"

3) choose "copy GIF link"

4) paste in

 

There's probably some snazzier way but that's what I do, mentioned for any diagnostic usefulness

Giphy, or attach image? The attach image function is useless because the system limits the size of the photo upload to a tiny file size. But giphy has always worked for me.
