Mat68 Posted June 7, 2023 Posted June 7, 2023 With geo tracking its easier than ever to catch. Players know the rules. Its not a surprise that these issues are on bad teams. Seems like a few guys were doing this to get through the day and season. Nothing yet seems to be any fixing or line manipulation. Just guys not doing what there are suppose to and getting turned in by the sports book. Quote

Sooner or later a player or ref will be compromised - that is if it hasn't happened already. You saw what happened in golf yesterday. Too much money is corruption Agree but did not see what happened with golf. I have been predicting it for a while and expansion of practice squads increases chance for it gives more players who are not making as much money about the inside workings of teams and their weaknesses allowing them if they keep their head in it better bets. 19 hours ago, notwoz said: The Athletic has a good story about the issue: "All five players agreed that the NFL and the NFLPA need to do a better job at teaching the gambling policy to players, particularly in an environment where four teams have a sportsbook in their stadium or the immediate vicinity and the league has official partnerships with FanDuel, DraftKings and Caesar’s." Based on this passage, I'd say the league and the union need to get their s**t together and lay down the ground rules. What are the odds of that happening and who is taking bets? Quote

The gambling addiction is probably scarier than a drug addiction. Gamblers can blow an infinite amount of money in a night or 3hr window...even the best drug addicts are capped on how much they can drop in a day. Quote

The first time, my grandma let him live in her house for awhile. The second time, he was homeless. Quote
