If there is something inaccurate, point it out. The guy has clearly stated that he does not believe the Holocaust was a real thing, that he questions whether the moon landings actually happened, that he believes 9/11 was an inside job, and that America was better before women had the right to vote. And this is your candidate. Oh, and Trump's too.

B-Man Posted March 16 Author Posted March 16 Schumer Begs Manchin to Run for Re-Election KAREN TOWNSEND Democrats see the writing on the wall. The Senate will likely flip to a Republican majority in November's general elections. Leaders in the party are panicking. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is talking to Senator Joe Manchin (D-West Virginia) about not retiring as he plans to do when his term is up. Schumer knows that with Manchin out of the race, the seat will likely go to the Republican candidate. Manchin is the only Democrat state-wide officeholder in West Virginia. It's a red state and Trump country. {snip} Joe Manchin is 76 years old. He's made a career out of serving in political office. It's time he retired. According to Politico, Manchin is warning that Joe Biden may not win re-election. During Politico's Health Care Summit Wednesday, Manchin said that Biden has been pushed too far left by his staff. Quote “He’s been pushed so far left it’s unbelievable,” said the West Virginia Democrat, who recently declined a third-party challenge to Biden and his GOP rival for the presidency, Donald Trump. “I have been raising hell from day one. … This is not how you’re going to get reelected.” He's been pushed too far left because that is who he aligns with in his demented state. He's too afraid of the progressive caucus to stand up to their bat-poo craziness. For example, Biden is going wobbly on his support of Israel and its right to defend itself. He's appeasing Muslim Arab American voters in Michigan instead of keeping a stiff spine on behalf of Israel. In a time that demands moral clarity, Joe Biden fails miserably. https://hotair.com/karen-townsend/2024/03/15/schumer-begs-manchin-to-run-for-re-election-n3784757
B-Man Posted March 20 Author Posted March 20 THE BATTLE FOR CONGRESS SHAPES UP Control of both the House and the Senate will be up for grabs in November. It would be great for Republicans to take control of the Senate, but it is absolutely vital that they retain, and if possible expand, their grip on the House. Today, Rasmussen Reports released their most recent generic Congressional preference numbers: With less than eight months to go before election day, Republicans have a six-point lead in their battle to maintain their narrow House majority. The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that if the elections for Congress were held today, 47% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the Republican candidate, while 41% would vote for the Democrat. Just four percent (4%) would vote for some other candidate, but another eight percent (8%) are not sure. Not too many years ago, a six point lead for the GOP would portend a November wipeout. But those days are gone, as pollsters apparently have figured out how not to undercount Republicans. https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2024/03/the-battle-for-congress-shapes-up.php
ChiGoose Posted March 29 Posted March 29 New Jersey ballot design scrapped by judge in win for Andy Kim I wasn't familiar with NJ's "county line" ballot system until I saw in the news that Kim was challenging it. Essentially, the party bosses in each county decide who gets the coveted first column on primary ballots, leading to somewhat bizarre looking ballots like this: According to an investigation, placement on the county line provides a boost to the candidates while also increasing voter confusion, leading to undervotes and overvotes. That alone should be worth getting rid of this, but when you add in that this allows the party to heavily influence who wins the primary, I'm glad to see it's likely on its way out.
