Forget injury for a moment. Think about freshness alone. You don’t see the benefit of our 34 year old pass rusher having less wear and tear from the season on him when he enters the playoffs?

He'll be plenty fresh,  he hasn't played in a year. 

I see a bigger benefit to having him on the field.

I'd be thrilled if he was playing Sunday
