EasternOHBillsFan Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 I don't quite understand why the Bills aren't participating in the NFL Global Markets Program... naturally team near the borders have a natural relationship with Canada and Mexico, but our fan base has been global for many years now. What's the deal? https://www.nfl.com/news/nfl-growth-global-markets-program-saints-france-steelers-ireland-falcons-germany 1 Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 (edited) The Bills had their hearts ripped out by l'affaire de Christian Wade. 😢 Edited May 23, 2023 by Ridgewaycynic2013 1 4 2 Quote

TBBills Fan Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 I was confused by this as well....we have had a strong Canadian fan base for years 1 Quote
Malazan Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Well, what are the particulars of the program? The article doesn't say much beyond the vague "marketing, fan engagement and commercialization activations" which is worthless corporate speak. What are the specific benefits given by this program? 4 Quote

Simon Says Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 I think the Bills already have "exclusive " NFL rights to Toronto market. If they bid on marketing rights elsewhere, they would probably lose that. Also,Bills, being from a small market, might not attract much interest overseas. 1 Quote
MJS Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Maybe they just do their own thing and don't need to be part of a program. 1 Quote

Fleezoid Posted May 24, 2023 Posted May 24, 2023 Why "market" the team. Fan-ship should grow organically. Just another piece of Goodell's diabolical plan to transition the NFL in to the WFL. Quote
