More confirmation we’ve been 100% correct about everything they said were just wild conspiracies.

Dodgers' Blake Treinen blasts organization for honoring Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence

by Scott Thompson

Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Blake Treinen is the latest player on the team who does not agree with them set to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence during their Pride Night on June 16.

Treinen, who is currently on the 60-day IL as he continues to recover from shoulder surgery, joined All-Star starter Clayton Kershaw as members of the organization who disapproved of the decision to add the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence back to their Pride Night event after previously removing the group. Treinen released a lengthy statement on the matter through his friend, Sean Feucht, via Twitter.

It’s just a rainbow! That and dressing as garish nuns and grinding on a crucifix. Hasn’t that always been part of baseball? Why are these players such bigots?

I saw the Dodgers are having a Christian faith night now

almost like a business wants to invite customers from all walks of life, crazy

Is there any line you wouldn’t cross re: “inviting customers from all walks of life”? Clearly you are good with the garish man-nuns that grind on the crucifix. You seem by your words here to be a homophobe so that’s an interesting situation.

Uhh no, I don’t like the group at all. Which is why I’m not gonna join them.

Thankfully we still live in a free country (I think)

This group doesnt cross the line

Absolutely. While a freedom lover myself, I don’t see where celebrating man-nuns grinding on a crucifix would be considered celebrating a “walk of life”. Those people are abhorrent freaks that should be left on the fringes where they belong. Different strokes I guess.

But it should only matter to the Dodgers

A "freedom-lover" would recognize a baseball team can invite whoever they want and not get so easily offended.

Would a freedom lover not get offended if a baseball team invited NAMBLA or any other “minor attracted persons” organization for recognition? Minor attracted person…isn’t that a term many on your side prefer to use in place of pedophile?

You seem to be on the side of inviting and celebrating any sick freaks that demand such. Whatever suits you, big boy.

2nd paragraph is stupid and petty and unnecessary, I didn't invite anyone.

We make choices in our life as to what we are sensitive and offended about.  A professional baseball team inviting people to spend money on their product is not one that I choose to be offended over. Because I believe in freedom and stuff

Yeah but SUNY - they call us Communists.

They reallllly need to look in the mirror.

It’s ok when people speak out against something that is clearly wrong. Man-nuns being honored is clearly wrong. No need whatsoever to equivocate over this freak show. Do you think there might be some outcry from your side if they were grinding on the Koran? It’s a rhetorical question.

Freedom or immoral or insentive?

To answer your question:

If they were grinding on the Koran, No, I would not be offended by the Dodgers decision to invite them to the game and spend money

I feel like SUNY-Amherst didn’t cover rhetorical questions.

You should be offended. It’s a very simple matter of right vs wrong. There’s no place for celebrating religious bigotry.

How would @SUNY_amherst feel about the Dodgers inviting nazi or white nationalist groups for some pre game festivities?

It's a free country, right?

It seems to me that the Dodgers would get considerable and well deserved backlash if they extended such an invite.

But of course people like @SUNY_amherst are always unapologetically hypocritical.

All. The. Time.

And what if some members of the team voiced the opinion that inviting nazis and white supremacists to their event was wrong and should not happen? Would the liberals shout them down and cancel them because we " live in a free country and stuff".

Well private businesses have long abandoned religious morals in the pursuit of money. I'm a grown man and have seen this a lot.

It seems odd to be so upset now about this stuff. Especially when its about a baseball team and not groups/individuals that have more directly profited from religious bigotry, like a Liberty University or something like that

Color me odd

The Cubs should have a Nazi night. According to @ChiGoose, they should have no problem attracting them.

WTF are you talking about? Why just make up stuff about people? Don’t you have a life or better things to do?
