hellofellowbillsfans Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Hi all - coming up to Buffalo for the Broncos game this fall and needing some recs on areas / neighborhoods to stay in. Where’s the best area to stay for a weekend? We will have a car, but would love to hear thoughts and suggestions. Quote

When I drove Uber, I gave a ride to a couple from New Jersey staying at Seneca Niagara Casino to the closest liquor store. Let's just say it didn't leave the most favorable impression, but it did leave an impression. Edited May 23, 2023 by Draconator 1 1 Quote

Draconator Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 Stay in East Aurora. It's cozy and you're close to great restaurants and shops. 1 2 1 Quote

But honestly people from new jersey have absolutely nothing to talk about I been to their casinos -- its worse. I just left buffalo -- flew back to TN where ive lived for the past 15 years earlier today. It was my first time back in buffalo (niagara falls) in 5 years. I was there to visit my parents for their 50th anniversary. Unfortunately niagara falls is worse than before every time i come back, its sad. Edited May 23, 2023 by BillsFan692 2 Quote

My last few trips, I’ve stayed at the Comfort Inn in Hamburg and it’s been perfect and affordable. Less than 10 minutes to the stadium. About 20 minutes from the Bar Bill in EA. Great location, clean rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast. 2 Quote
Bob Chandler's Hands Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 14 question marks? Dude, you gotta have at least 17. 1 Quote

buffblue Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 (edited) I would drop by Bailey and Minnesota Ave. I'm sure it would be a welcoming experience. But seriously, just avoid the East Side. Buffalo is not nearly as rough as advertised Edited May 23, 2023 by buffblue 1 Quote

Agreed you don’t want to F around up there beyond the park and the casino. 1 hour ago, Gugny said: My last few trips, I’ve stayed at the Comfort Inn in Hamburg and it’s been perfect and affordable. Well that’s the thing - that’s a perfectly good idea driving in. If the OP is flying in he could stay at one of the multiple hotels by the airport too, get an uber or rent a car and go to the village and just walk around, and just drive to the game. Homeboy didn’t really give us enough details. 2 Quote

NF just seems super touristy / shady when I’ve been there previously. It’s a fun day trip but given it’s a short drive to Buffalo that’s my plan. Leaning towards Allentown / DT Buffalo. Quote
BritBill Posted May 23, 2023 Posted May 23, 2023 I must say, I didn't particularly notice anything too bad about Niagara Falls when we went. However, I do remember each person/group catching the bus got progressively higher the further away we got from Buffalo and closer to Niagara Falls. Pleasant enough bus ride out of the city and back though. Quote
