Well this is good to hear. The pick makes more sense if they drafted him to play MLB and if he at least has a shot at the job.

 

The reason it looked so bad was because of Beane's comments right after the draft, basically implying they spent another third round pick on a special teams player.

Hmm. I don't think he had quite been at his best, but he was still playing very well. I'd have had him in or around the top 10.
