Good morning all! Just bought my tickets for the Raiders game. First home game since 1998.  Does anyone know if there's a way to buy a parking pass to the lots around the stadium ahead of time or are they only available on game day? Also, is there a parking lot that's for tailgating only or is it allowed where ever you park? TIA

Parking passes at the stadium lots are only sold on a season basis. You used to have to have 4 club seats to be able to purchase one. I’m not sure if that is still the case. Everything else is done on game day. You can probably find one on stub hub or wherever but parking in the stadium lots is a NIGHTMARE IMO. It can take hours to exit after the game. You can pretty much park and tailgate wherever.

Parking near the stadium is a 1 hour or more penalty when it comes time to leave.  Unless you have mobility issues or love traffic park further away, tons of places to park.

Parking should be interesting the next few years as they are building the new stadium.   I don’t see how they will replace the parking list from the two massive lots where the construction is.   That, plus the loss of the RV lots, who knows what to expect.

I'm assuming the ECC lot is going to be gone also based on what they have already started over there.

I get parking passes with my seasons every year. Always park in lot 1 off 20A, Big Tree Rd. It takes awhile to get out after the game, but never more than 45 mins. But, gonna have to leave earlier this year to make sure and get there before the lot fills up.

Are the far lots on the other side of ECC open on gamedays?

I've gotta tell ya, for one, the parking issue will be a deterent for sure during construction.  I suspect that it will lean in the nightmare direction.  Even when they finish, it'll be a while, at least one season presumably, before the area where Highmark now sits is available for parking as well.

Not to open a separate can of worms, but it would be AWESOME if there’s was some sort of shuttle from downtown. I fly in for home games, and I hate having to drive and take up a parking space for just myself in my rental car. I’ve been fortunate to have some kind folks work with me to get me to the lots, but there should be a better way. I’m sure if it was easy, it would exist already. This will be especially true with reduced parking area.

I believe those are opened and are the park and ride lots.

I believe the large lot on southwestern next to lot 4 is the only one being impacted right now.  Possibly the other two smaller lots also.

I can't vouch for the experience since I have never done it, but Metrobus has routes to Highmark.

I'm considering trying it.

Yes they are. We park at ECC and normally are there in line 15-20 min before the lots open, so we end up on the side closest to the stadium. Sometimes if we’re arriving late for whatever reason, the lots on that side are full and we have to park in the lots on the “far” side. It’s not bad, just some extra walking. Atmosphere is more laid back & subdued, more families, more room to spread out your tailgate, etc. If you want a “quieter” or more family friendly tailgate experience it’s great.

Nice map.  A few more people have opened up private lots off of Abbot Road.  Laura's Lot (?) had a decent crowd last time I was walking around that area.

don’t park in the stadium lots. Lots of excellent private lot options.

Ya that map is 4 years old so I'm sure more have sprung up but that has always been my go to when picking a lot to meet up with people.

Past practice has been that the Bills lots will take payment (card only.  No cash) the day of the game. The obvious exception would be the club seat preferred lots and the like.  I know lot one took payments last year...

Generally very easy if you’re heading back towards the thruway. There is a traffic light / traffic cops directing things so you can usually make the left without too much trouble. We always stay over at the hotels in Hamburg and we’ll hang for an hour or so after the game just because then when we do leave, we’re at the hotel in 10-15 min no problem

I’ve done it and it’s very good honestly

bus isn’t usually packed … we got a police escort on the highway last season

bypassed all the traffic and they drop you off right next to the stadium … quick exit too
