Ghost of BiB Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 .........buying cigarettes. For real. I told the cashier she made my day! 347024 I just changed my post because I like you.
Nanker Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 Were you 100 Proof? The last time I got proofed Ben Franklin vouched for me and I got in without a photo ID (which hadn't been invented yet).
VABills Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 .........buying cigarettes. For real. I told the cashier she made my day! 347024 She was a lesbian looking for a date. Figured it was the easy way to get on your good side.
jarthur31 Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 .........buying cigarettes. For real. I told the cashier she made my day! 347024 Who were you buying those cancer sticks for?
buckeyemike Posted May 28, 2005 Posted May 28, 2005 Ironically, the same thing happened to me at the Indians game yesterday. I was trying to enter a contest to win a grill set...the girl asked me if I was over 18. I handed her my ID and said "twice that next Thursday". Mike
BILLS4LIFE Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 .........buying cigarettes. For real. I told the cashier she made my day! 347024 WOW! Our local Sunoco is proofing people in their 80s for cigs. Theyre actually proofing everyone for everything now. I think they got caught. I wont go in there anymore, but if I did,I wonder if theyd proof me for a bag of chips.

I've heard stories of parents not being able to buy beer when they have their kid with them. I'm all for strict enforcement but damn.

Actually,a local Liquor store here in Alden (about 5-10 minutes from where I live) was nailed in an Alcohol Sting. Theres something in Sundays Buffalo News, but they targeted 17 stores and Dok's got nailed. I know the owner and the guy that got busted, too.
Bill from NYC Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 I am not at all surprised CL. You look barely old enough to purchase cigarettes.

BillnutinHouston Posted May 30, 2005 Posted May 30, 2005 I got proofed in Dallas a few weeks ago. I'm 37 and was having dinner with 3 of my employees. Very strange. Maybe it's the weight I lost.
