The Chiefs are definitely cursed.  They haven’t won anything since Britt Reid handicapped a child due to drunk driving.  That proves curses are real and the Chiefs deserve it.

The Bills and Araiza are well known to us.  This happens too often in the victim manufacturing, virtue signaling, kabuki dance we call social justice.   Title IX and due process.  Universities and legislators created a kangaroo court system to provide outcomes legitimate courts weren’t so that the statistics of sexual assault theorists could be “correct”.   “Believe all women” is a slogan so absurd that it should be challenged at every utterance.  It isn’t.   Mothers, don’t let your sons grow up to be … college students.  Fear no words.  Speak plainly.  My sympathy is reserved for the dozens of Matt Araizas who didn’t have proof of innocence.   Imagine that, proof of innocence.

 

Preemptively, in light of the medium:  No, I am not saying believe no women.  No, I am not saying believe all men.  No, I am not saying my sympathy for the falsely accused exceeds my sympathy for the actually assaulted.  No, I am not saying … anything I didn’t say.   May Matt and the young lady, also troubled, find peace.

I wish you people will stop with this crap. We have a top notch punter signed for multiple years. There are 31 other teams. You’re acting like if the Bills don’t sign him he won’t play in the NFL. He will certainly be signed before camp.

It’s should never be “Believe all woman” it should simply be to take all accusations seriously but at then end of the day, you need proof like any other crime. Simply telling a teary eyed story of what happened shouldn’t be enough for the type of public outcry received. Totally pathetic of our society. I keep hearing all the terrible things said about this innocent young man who was doing nothing but being your typical college star athlete. Shame on millions of people!

You’ll pardon me if I’d prefer more than a tweet as “proof”.

 

Edit:  I see now that there is more than just the Tweet and that the article offers more and seemingly objective information.  I would still disagree with your statement of fact that he has proof he wasn’t there.  He may very well have that proof but the article does not offer anything that constitutes objective truth.

oh i'm way out of it.  i'm 45 and have been married for a decade.  i'm sure it's  different, it was more just how it came off.  like he was an alien observing women from a far.  that being said, you did always have to be careful.  i remember the rape talk they gave all the guys in college orientation.  at least where i went, they put it all out on the table.  it's not just that women lie...people lie.  i may not have to protect myself in the dating scene, but boy do tread lightly in certain areas of life.

This is me. The entire organization, including the Pegula family, would have taken too much heat to protect him even though I'm pretty sure charges were never filed.

They actually did good by signing him even with the rumors floating around. I believe he got his signing bonus. If this was made public before the draft he wouldn’t have been drafted or signed anywhere.

Wait for the facts to come out.  It's not that difficult.  

 

There's no rule that says that you have to automatically believe every accusation that comes along.  Suspending judgement until you know the underlying facts is pretty much always the best course of action.

It doesn’t work like that. Too many women and men and their families have gone through traumatic experiences. These things take a long time to play out. The Bills couldn’t just ignore the accusations. If there was a way to keep him out of the spotlight for a year then maybe.
