Sometimes pro-football-reference gets wrong info from sources but in this case release came from an Colts tweet/website.  Facebook post also said he was a DE.

Both of those players were also just let go.

 

With changes allowing larger variety of numbers it will happen more often.

He beat Luke Tenuta on the play simply by lining up wide.

 

Tenuta just couldn't get there and his hand fighting was too late.

I'm not anticipating it.  These are low snap (35%) rotational "breather" guys.  They fill a spot for a few series, maybe make a play.  Hard to imagine a second contract for them here.
