bobobonators Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 Trust me, I’ve seen enough of BB to last a lifetime, but this truly made me laugh out loud. 🤣 3 1 2 Quote
transient Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 So he basically screwed the Patriots*** to screw the Jets… sweet. 1 4 Quote
RiotAct Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 that’s pretty admirable actually. Still, f*** him and the Patriots. 3 Quote

Doc Brown Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 The Jets and the Cowboys scrambling after getting jumped was the best part of the draft. The pettiness from Belichick is great though. 3 2 1 Quote
Success Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 I kind of doubt this story. He's vindictive - but I don't think so much that he would change a single thing about how he conducts the draft. Doesn't seem like his style. 2 Quote
K D Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 I forgot the Patriots were even in our division. That might be the only win they get against the AFC east this year Quote
Dablitzkrieg Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 Someone noticed this on draft day on this board and called it out. Bravo whomever you were 👏 1 1 Quote

Although it doesn’t benefit him and the Patriots as much, it also hurts a division opponent. I would almost guarantee that teams would take a little less to make a trade outside the division, or to hurt a division rival. Benefits them both ways. 1 Quote

OTOH, you don't want Belichick anywhere near your draft room on Draft day. With the exception of the lines he's one of the worst drafters in the league. Quote

The specific allegation is that he could have gotten a 3rd for the swap but took a 4th to screw the Jets. 1 hour ago, RiotAct said: that’s pretty admirable actually. Still, f*** him and the Patriots. Apparently Belichick and Matt Patricia had a practice disagreement with Butler during the week. The Cheatriots*** subsequently lost to the Eagles 41-33. Good job Bill... you showed Butler. Quote
Old Coot Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 It's pretty shrewd. Denying the Jets an OT, makes them easier for the Patriots to play. 2 Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 (edited) And he accidentally texted Brian Flores also right? Ultimately stopping Tom Brady from going to Miami. It was just an accident. Edited May 5, 2023 by Buffalo_Stampede 3 Quote

Inigo Montoya Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 (edited) Feeling like he was on a roll, after Bill got off the phone with the Steelers he called Dominos and ordered 50 large anchovy pizzas to be delivered to the Jets' draft room under the name A. Rodgers. Edited May 5, 2023 by Inigo Montoya 6 Quote
