No one gives a crap about the price, everyone just wants it built as you say.

But a mere few months after signing the deal and already nearly 40% over budget?

That couldn't possibly have been all Raccuia's fault.

Fewer details than with any other stadium project at this point in time.  As Blank Stare implied, it's very odd.

Remember, NY State is involved.

SoFi was initially budgeted to cost $2.66B. It actually cost $5.5B. Extreme example, but all these things end up costing way more than the price announced when they close the deal for one.

If that thing in Tennessee (which is hideous, btw) ends up costing $2.1B I’ll eat my hat.

Indeed, but we don't care, that only impacts Pegula.

If it impacts pegula, it impacts the fans in the wallet. You don't seriously think he's gonna pay that outta pocket, do you?

Not all of it, but what's he gonna do, have $25,000 PSLs for the cheap seats.

Anybody trying to downplay ours and talking up other people's stadiums are disrespecting the bills

Who is doing that and why is it disrespectful if someone likes one stadium over another?

Because spending nearly $2 billion on a stadium without a closed roof is crazy. We’ve been told for decades that Buffalo can’t afford a dome.

Inflation.  A done is another billion ( give or take).  You throwing out a dollar amount assuming you can do more with it, do you have data to show how they could have had a dome for the same price?   Also there is significant debate in the dome thing.  Why do you have to be right because you are on one side of that fence?

…and the virtual center for season ticket holders is yet to open. Maybe price “adjustments” and changes to renderings(not in a good way) prior to fans being “blown away”?  I can’t wait to see the posts of the first wave of people who get to visit this wallet emptying experience. 😂

The buffalo’s out in front have already been downsized…

The data is the Titans are getting a dome for their projected 2.1 billion vs. the 1.9 billion we're up to now.   Maybe theirs will end up costing 3-4 billion when is said and done but I think that's what we're comparing too at this time since both teams signed deals around the same time.

To be fair the Jets had to adjust their prices as well when MetLife was being built. I have seats in the endzone (row 3) and initially they were charging $10,000 per seat PSL fee. Sales were so disappointing at that price in those sections that the PSL fee eventually got reduced to $5,000 per seat. The Bills will have to adjust their prices to what the demand is. They want to sell those seats so they will have to work with what the market can afford. PSL's were/are a disaster in a big market like the NYC area. It will be no different in Buffalo.

I figured that is where you would go.....lets see what the overruns are in Tennessee too.   Also, there can be things making construciton more or less expensive in different locations/regions.  Maybe it costs less to build anything in Tennessee than in NY with all the red tape, 100% union labor, labor laws, restrictions on everything.   It would be more than 200M more to put a roof on the thing.

But they'll have air conditioned football! A must have for today's cotton candy fans...

A dome isn’t that much more. A dome downtown yes because there’s more infrastructure money needed around the stadium.

A dome in OP would’ve probably been $200-$300 million more.

I don’t really care if the Bills played outdoors or indoors. I’m going to the games either way. I wanted a dome because players would’ve preferred it and it would attract the fans that don’t like sitting outside.

With this Bills team they aren't really built to play in the cold. They don't run the ball very well. They rely on Allen throwing it all over the place. For a team that might have to deal with poor weather especially the 2nd half of the season you would think they would be built better for the tough elements.

I'm pretty sure that there definitely would be a noticeable difference in cost....for building the same thing....in NY vs in Tennessee. Cost of doing business in NY is higher for various/obvious reasons.

And Allen won’t play forever. I honestly hated when we searched for a QB and had to eliminate anyone without a big arm.

The Bills need to be more the like the Bills teams of the early 90's. Balanced on offense. Kelly threw it all over the field as well. But he had a great OL, and the Bills could run the ball down teams throats with Thurman. I love this Bills team and watching Allen make plays throwing it all over the field is fun to watch. I just wish they could run it better when needed. Especially when the weather dictates that.

Just because they have a far nicer stadium doesn’t mean anyone is jumping to Titans fandom. You can be both a Bills fan and realize that another team is building a far more appealing stadium.

Why is the design of a pizza box, PS2 or record player more appealing?
