Some guy just got fired and they were going through his PC “Oh!  Here are those renderings we were looking for in March!”

I'll say it once again.  They don't allow fans with flags on poles in the current stadium, so why show them in the renderings unless the policy is going to change.

I posted on another topic about our elements in Orchard Park and the fact that many quality Free Agents have taken less money to play in a warmer city, or a team with a dome. I have spoken to several NFL players in years past, as well as recently and they have all said the same thing... "Not unless they pay me considerably more than anyone else". I can list the reasons that they have all said made them consider playing elsewhere, and this includes many of our former players.

This made me wonder if it was possible to extend the canopy to cover more of the stands and partially the field? From what I remember, the original renderings showed that Toilet Bowl look, where the entire stands where covered as well as part of the field. Couple that with some kind of wind blocking technology that was supposed to keep the wind off of the field, but the newest renderings show that only about 60% of the stands are covered, leaving the snow shoveling to continue, as well as snow and wind gusts.

They probably can but it won’t be a consideration for decades.

Pegula wanted outdoor football. They built the stadium for the fans, which was the complete wrong decision.

They also believe our weather is an advantage. That is true when you have a physical freak QB. But finding that guy again will be difficult. So in 10 years or so we’ll be looking for the big arm big body QB that can play in Buffalo winters. I always hated that.

Allen would’ve chose a dome if he had a choice. This stadium should’ve been built for the players, not the fans.

Greg Rousseau had a great answer live after a game. The question was about playing in the Buffalo weather. He said when you’re winning it’s fun. Key word is winning.

That said it’s going to be a beautiful stadium and a major upgrade over the previous stadium. The elements will have a little less of an impact.

Extending the canopy is impossible without massive bucks. The design is what it is and it's too late to make big changes.

Wind.... they have incorporated wind control in the design, so we have that.

Funny...people are taking less money to play with Josh Allen or to remain here now.

Which quality players would that be?? We have 1- really good WR's in Shakir, whos due up for a new contract right now. Everyone else on offense besides Cook is average. Name a top flight free agent that has signed here for less since Josh has been here? Von Miller was willing to sign with Dallas for $10mil less than what we paid for him.

30 years from now when there’s only a couple cold weather stadiums renovating will be a topic.

1st Dallas is near Miller's home, 2nd he would of taken a little less to play near home but what they were offering was way less. He wasn't interested

It's also called a salary cap and a QB on a big 2nd contract. AND we aren't signing or even looking at lots of big name players because the team chooses to extend their players 1st. Lots of our FA signings are value signings, which is necessary when you have a QB like Allen on a 2nd contract.

I am ANTI-DOME, the new stadium looks fantastic.

I am in the wait and see mode, would have preferred a dome, but willing to give the stadium a chance. If it can do as promised and limit the impact of the weather on the game and fans (and will have to see it in action to determine that) then I do not have an issue with it

Funny how the elite teams that continue to compete, at least going to Conference Championships don't have this problem. KC, Philly, Baltimore (last year), SF (exclude this year) Cincy, are paying huge contracts to QB's, WR's and so on, but the Bills cant. Our resigning's have been poor. Oliver, AJ Epenesa, Knoxx, Taron, Jones, all have been underperformers. Drafting has been piss poor since Beane has gotten here (outside of Josh). Shakir is the only one on offense that is worth resigning to me. And maybe Cook if he's not asking for a ton of $$$. From what i gather from his folks down in FL. Cook will be out the door first thing if they dont offer him the big buck$. He loves his teamates, but cant stand the cold.

The Bills are the 2nd winningest team in all of pro sports over the last 5 years, what the F are you talking about?

Made it One (1) conference championship in 7 years with an Elite QB in Josh Allen. Granted he's only been elite for 5 of those years, but still, not one Super Bowl appearance is criminal when you have an Elite QB, Elite WR in Diggs and pro bowlers on defense.

That's what I am talking about. Let me guess, your one of those "Its Hard to Win in the NFL" people.

This is New York State. The union contracts are probably already paying out at dome prices. If you extend the canopy it will likely be at space ship stadium costs. 🚀 🏟️
