The point being, that this is just OBD buffoonery to have not thought through a semi roof in one of the few locales in America that attracts tons of snow in freakish storms! And you believe the licensed architects, engineers, and City Building/Safety Department do not know that it snows in Buffalo? Why? Because you read it on the internet? 1 Quote

BillnutinHouston Posted October 18 Posted October 18 (edited) FWIW I took a tour of State Farm Stadium in Phoenix yesterday and to my surprise, the seating capacity in its standard configuration is only 63,000 which reminded me of our new stadium. I was wondering how a stadium of that size would appear. The answer is, it's very cool and sufficiently majestic inside. Edited October 18 by BillnutinHouston Quote

LabattBlue Posted October 18 Posted October 18 I wonder how many escalator banks there will be? From Abbott Rd, you can see one which would be I think around the 50 yard line. Don’t see any in the end zones, and don’t know about the sideline on the ECC South side. Quote

LabattBlue Posted October 19 Posted October 19 (edited) County Executive Poloncarz announced that the ECC South property will be put up for auction(at some point after the school is relocated). Interested to see how it all shakes out. Edited October 19 by LabattBlue Quote

I’m not crazy about having to walk up steps (rather than a ramp) from the 300 concourse to get to the seats. That’s not very accessible. Edited October 20 by BRH 2 Quote
Jukester Posted October 23 Posted October 23 (edited) Latest drone video from 10/21. Looking pretty cool. However, if that’s the extent of the overhang, it will cover very little of the lower bowl, if any. Edited October 23 by Jukester 2 2 2 Quote

I'm hoping that is just the main support for the overhang, and that the final roofing extends well beyond that. 2 Quote

I had read long ago that most of the first level will not be covered; any seats covered will be from the section overhang above, not the canopy. My understanding is the canopy will be effective for the highest level seats. Quote
