All of our defensive tackles are in a contract year, so they should be playing hungry to land a bigger deal in the off-season.

Ed Oliver has shown glimpses of high level play, but hopefully he can break out this season, even if he ends up signing elsewhere.

Exactly.

1 more thing to consider is how this signing impacts Ed's play too, in addition to DL and LB impact.  Ed doesn't always have Daquan lined up with him, and he performs better with a true/capable 1-T.  This gives us a much stronger rotation and trickle down effects elsewhere

Then sign Ed Oliver to an extension.

Definitely trading Oliver, for sure. 100%.

Never happening.

Wasn't happening during the Draft. Isn't happening now. This is a fan made up idea like Edmunds was last year.

Anytime he's brought up around Beane he talks about wanting to re-sign him. He'll either get extended before the year or he'll be a FA after this season. But he's "definitely" not going anywhere.

He's our best 3T and there isn't a better one available out there. Teams don't trade for guys with 1 year left on their contract with a 10m cap hit.

Anything is possible in the NFL. But you're living in a fantasy world thinking it's a definite.

Beane would be foolish to say anything other than that.....he's not going to indicate he wants to trade a specific player
