He said he expects them to get to 83 or 84. Either than means they will fill the rest with rookie try outs or maybe they go to camp light? Well we're at 83 now between the roster we had prior to the Draft, the Draft picks we made, the addition of Murray, and the 7 (yet to be announced officially) UDFA signings. So I think it will probably be closer to 90 than that, unless some cuts are made or we're only signing 1 more player. Edited May 1, 2023 by BillsFanForever19 Quote

I have always been of the opinion that there should be 2 kickers and punters in camp. I don't want Bass and Martin having to kick if they feel too tight or strained. It hasn't always happened in the past with the Bills, but I don't care. They should do it. 1 Quote

He's got experience in the Bills defensive system (played for Rivera for a long time), highly aggressive pocket collapser, former teammates with Tim Settle, also has DE flexibility which the Bills covet. Would make a lot of sense. Love Ioannidis Quote

Isn't the issue less about numbers at the position this year and more about not having any under contract for next year (so facing yet another total makeover of the spot which no doubt will involve Beane spending all of his FA pennies there)? So how does signing a vet to a 1 year deal help? The attraction to drafting a guy was a cheap 4 year deal. An expensive 1 year deal makes less sense to me, even if they end up cutting Tim Settle. I think that they will go defensive end before they go defensive tackle I think that maybe the thought of defensive tackle is we need to get bigger since we won’t be running with a big linebacker I like Ed oliver I think he’s grossly underrated by a lot of people, but it looks to me like we really only have one true one tech on the team settle isn’t it Quote

So I think Ngakaoue is likely too expensive as well. I'd expect: Poona Ford and possibly a RB like Murray. I'm not expecting any moves over $2m, and likely rules out trying to make any "upgrades" but focused more on depth You hit the exacta. 3 1 Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted May 2, 2023 Posted May 2, 2023 Does Murray count since he said he signed him during the draft? Im still hoping for a veteran pass rusher. Quote

Warriorspikes51 Posted May 2, 2023 Author Posted May 2, 2023 (edited) What needs do we have left LB seems unlikely based on various comments from Beane so.... - RT to compete with Brown: George Fant or Brandon Shell - Veteran Edge (my dream is 2 of them: Melvin Ingram + Ngakoue/Houston/Floyd/Quinn) Trade Epenesa or Basham for a late pick Von Rousseau Ingram Ngakoue Shaq is a heck of a rotation We can extend DaQuan Jones and restructure Dion Dawkins to make it work Edited May 2, 2023 by Warriorspikes51 Quote
