In the second round I love it. I was thinking Sanders/Simpson/Hyatt but clearly they had their choice and they wanted Torrence, and those guys are still available. It’s a different look, but if Beane wants to make the line bigger and more nasty, this works.

Cody Ford 2.0 🥸

I’m hoping he is what they wanted Ford to be…hoping this works out, yet seems like a weird scheme fit. Either way, welcome aboard o’cyrus!

Go Bills!

Hopefully he has all the athletic talent of Ford with actual brains inside to match.

He's not as strong as he appears. His bench press at the combine was very disappointing.

Think the massively long arms is a reason for that?

Seems a bit lumbering and heavy to be used in a gap or pin/pull scheme where they found most of their success last year.

In pass pro, I have PTSD from watching Saffolds slow feet last season, and I’m hopeful he plays quicker than his size would indicate.

I did not like our first rounder because the TE position had massive depth in this draft and no need to give up a 4th when we have holes to fill.

I loved this pick and it was a massive home run ,  this guy can play and has elite size.  Has something like 1500 drop backs without giving up a sack.

Wrong, getting lots of average guys has gotten us nowhere, Offense needed improvement, Josh needed a premium weapon. This has gone perfectly.

That’s a bunch of crap.  He throws people around with ease

You just run or stunt around him.

Well I have good news for you. If he's too slow to react to the crashing rusher, he'll be in perfect position to absorb the stunt man.

Seriously, though, as long as they improve communication and coordination then they don't need a nimble guard. If a guard with a seven foot wingspan had good mobility he'd be a tackle and not a guard.

Holy Cow 46 starts and zero sacks allowed in his college career in the Sec no less

He only played 1 year in the SEC. Still impressive,  but it wasn't his whole career.

Bench Press isn’t that big of a deal. Using leverage and weight to the form of “strength” is all that matters.

Between Morse, Bates, McGovern, Boettger, and Torrence, I feel like we can actually put together a decent IOL.

Last year it was maybe our weakest positional group. Now I think it can be at least average and not lose us games.
