Go do Device settings > Mouse > Check to see if an extra mouse is installed you do not use and check to see if there is a ? in front of it.  Disconnect it and if there is a driver for the mouse, uninstall it and restart windows. Plug the mouse back in.

Try plugging the mouse in a different USB port. If your using a port splitter, get a new one,

 

Also.

 

Check mouse wheel settings. how many pages does it scroll down. if its a high number it will likely auto scroll. Its a life hack for scripters that always work from the bottom of the page.

Any PlayStation controllers or X Box Controllers connected to your PC... Disable or uninstall 

 

Also

 

Check to see if your End Key is stuck on the keyboard... Turn keyboard upside down and give the key a flick of the finger.

 

Also 

 

Mouse wheel may be loose, Disconnect mouse and open it up. check the spring.

 

All else fails? you need a new mouse. 

 

If its a mouse PAD? Uninstall the hardware and restart windows... should auto reinstall the mouse bad devise.

Thanks, I will check all those.  Some I can rule out because some of this stuff is brand new.

 

Also for the porn guy at the top... no porn on this one yet.  Just finished the build.  Haven't had the time to get pornware on this system yet 🤣

Good troubleshooting, but for me, it happens on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, not on my desktop.

Just a guess

 

Computer-based instructions

Click on your screen name in the upper rt corner

On the drop down menu, choose "Account Settings"

 

In Account settings, modify the behavior as desired

I'm guessing you have "take me to the latest comment" selected (which will get you to the bottom) and you want "take me to comments I haven't read"

 

On the other hand, if these are comments you've already read, then I Got Nothin'

clear your browser cache.

brand new? Then it’s probably not browser cache. You said a new build so I assume it’s a new Windows PC build. Are you running a weird browser?

Yes everything is brand new.  Just running Edge.  Im use to Safari but they dont make safari for windows anymore.

Im wondering if maybe its the speed in which the page loads. Like I click and its boom loaded and it really fast scrolls to the bottom of the page.  It doesnt always do it.  Sometimes it will stay at the top.  I noticed yesterday one time it did stay at the top it was loading something from twitter in the first post.  Still didnt take long but it was that extra barely a second. It stayed on top then.

when this happens, tell me the exact link you are using. This matters because certain links take you to the bottom of the page.

Its pretty much most of the time when I finish reading the current page and click "next page" to go to the next page.

I'm using the Samsung Galaxy browser version 20.7.1 on a Samsung galaxy s21 and the problem doesn't happen for me

Yeah, I'm beginning to dislike Samsung/Android more and more each day. I own an iPhone too. Better in almost all ways (except for the lack of a micro SD card). I'll start using my iPhone on TBD. Hopefully it won't happen on that device.

reinstall the driver. problem solved. also Upgrade the driver or roll the driver back.. if none of that works then its a mousepad issue.

Scott.  Turn off your iPad hit the two buttons, reset the pad and then search for TBD on google.  See if it works then.

 I’ve never of you’re problem,

but when I have a problem I just reset everything.  Most of the time it works.

 You may have had a bug in the background.
