I was only enamored with JSN or Addison in RD 1 - and after seeing Addison’s “let’s get paid” comments or whatever they were, I feel like we aren’t missing out on anything.

Wasn't high on Flowers at all.  Johnston I considered a project but would be good with.

But for those wanting a WR, this draft is far from done and it feels like the best ones in this draft will be later round guys.

We can still find a slot guy (Downs).

Mingo.  Hyatt.  Dell.  Rice.  Boutte.  Washington.

If you tell me we got TE 1 and say my guy Mingo, along with big people - I’m going to be thrilled.  Stop fixating on that first round group.  Only JSN was exciting.

Speaking of which - Detroit didn’t want to trade down and draft Campbell?  They absolutely could have and we could have been the partner and then drafted JSN if we really wanted to.  Price too steep I’m sure we called.  Had to.

And Woolen. Just like I’m going to be right about Mayer > Kincaid in the long run.

You do realize you are rooting against a Bills player just so can say you were right.

No, I will root for Kincaid all the same since he is now a Bill, but I’m not expecting him to be great like everyone here is. Just like I felt Cook isn’t going to be a great as Hall when all said and done, but I still cheer for Cook.

So a million and one other people, all more relevant and visible than you liked Breece Hall last year too as the top RB but you’re gonna go ahead and claim that as a dub huh?

Again, peak delusion.

Haha yea I thought I misread what he was saying at first …like if he ends up going completely against the grain saying Kincaid isn’t going to be as good as Mayer before even knowing the situation Mayer lands in and is right…that would be something to add to the resume.

but breece hall being better than James cook was not a very bold prediction at the time and on top of that it may not even be correct going forward lol cook was on fire down the stretch and breece hall is now coming back from a serious injury

They’re not even gonna be use the same way a lot of times these players it’s all about fit and how they’re used we won’t be running James Cook near as much as they will be running hall

Can't think of a better pick for the Bills. LOVE IT.

If he's everything they're saying he is, and he lives up to it of course. Elite tight ends are rare, and look at what they do for the teams that have them. Defenses can't take these guys away, they're annoying as hell to play against.

Initial reaction is...does Dorsey know how to use him?

The only thing I didn't like was that Beane panicked and gave away a 4th.

He does that in every draft.  Pags needs to hire an assistant to Beane to smack him in the head when he talks about making these trades.   I’d love to play in fantasy leagues with Beane.

Incorrect take. Dallas almost certainly wanted Kincaid. It was a shrewd move, not panic.

I got 20 bucks that says we hear the Dallas was totally going to draft Dalton Kincaid

That's not an NFL catch. Is that supposed to be the reason we're wowed?

Kincaid will adjust the NFL rules he was playing with the rules they set forth in college. You can’t blame him for that.

I have to believe Knox is now trade bait. He's far too good to be TE2 and we traded up in the 1st to get his replacement. Surely they didn't draft a TE 2 in the 1st. Kincaid runs a 4.71 40, so playing him as a WR makes little sense unless he's our new slot guy. BTW, Kincaid doesn't block well at all, so in-line TE also seems a remote possibility. He also wants to play for the Bengals.

I sincerely hope either Cody Mauch or Matthew Bergeron is in their crosshairs. We can always sign a FA MLB before the season if there isn't one they like in the 3rd. I just don't understand why Beane isn't more concerned about our OL. They're freaking awful and he just keeps signing more bad O Linemen thinking that will solve the problem. It won't. I feel bad for Josh and Damien Harris. They sign a receiver that Josh will be throwing to while he's running for his life. I thought McDermott said he didn't want Allen to get injured. Replacing that human turnstile at RT would certainly help that cause.

Did the Bills pass on Hall cause if they didn't this makes no sense

Knox has 15 TDs the last 2 seasons despite only averaging 68 targets.  He has the highest catch rate on the Bills too.  And he’s a very good blocker.  if they gave him the same targets as the TEs ahead of him he would have the production.

You can’t catch what isn’t thrown to you.  Kelce had 2.5X more targets thrown his way.  Kittle had poor stats when Jimmy G was QB this year and was more a blocker cuz Jimmy was a statue.  Once purdy brought mobility in, they released Kittle more and he had a bunch of big games with Purdy.

Knox is our starting TE, in the traditional sense.  Kincaid is not going to be blocking and will release and be a receiving weapon.  He literally can’t do what Knox does as a blocker.

So Kincaid is not supplanting Knox, they won’t be used in the same way.

none of that makes Kincaid the #2 TE. It’s most likely a 1A 1B situation. Maybe Knox gets 10% more snaps and Kincaid gets 20% more targets.

They could have taken Hall instead of Elam. Just like I wanted Woolen to be our CB in the same draft. I would rather have Hall/Woolen than Elam/Cook. I still stand by that.

they had a high grade on DK. Possibly the last 1st rd grade that was still available, since Beane hinted they only had 1st rd grades on 18-20 players this year. Literally all the draft chatter and speculation was Dallas was on TEs since they just lost theirs. DK was pretty much the consensus top TE. Are you putting the math together yet?

I’m sure Beane would love to play fantasy against you too - he would destroy you.
