Yes, but they could make it conditional so they get to keep the better pick.

You can do it conditional, so you can say "whichever is higher" which is what I imagine the terms are.

What a terrible trade for Houston. They better hope Stroud and Anderson turn out to be absolute studs. That's a bad roster nowhere close to competing in the AFC and they should have up a 2, 3 and what will likely be a top 10 pick next year maybe top 5.

 

Anderson is as safe a bet as there is IMO.
