I'm sorry, but you're no longer welcome in the Tardis. Mazi Smith is such a McBeane pick.

Haha I wish it was more exciting too but I’m expecting boring

Just curious why you think they would take Mazi over Jordan Addison at 27 given how many times they have met with Addison now.  IMHO Addison is the one player they have shown the most interest in and would definitely be the pick if he’s there.

If your idea is the Bills take a DT first round, if Dallas doesn't take Bresee, you think the Bills take him over Mazi?  I like Bresee more than Smith.

I fully expect this to happen.

No. He’s the guy that fits the athletic but no production in 30 games that needs to be motivated and won’t be on the field on 3rd and more than 2.

this is the one guy I pray we don’t draft.  It’ll be my fault when we draft him.  😭

This is imo a very lazy take. You are seriously underestimating McB if you expect them to take Smith over Addison just because they prioritized defense in the past.

They see what we see.

If Addison is still on the board at 27 and we draft Mazi Smith, I'm really going to start to question some of the FO decisions and if they're the right guys to win a title.

Did we even bring in Smith?

lol, thanks a lot

so our choices are either high motor undersized character guy, or behemoth lazy jerk

just give me a CB and call it a day.  i already have pre-fab complaints lined up for that scenario that are basically evergreen

Lol…..yours is equally as lazy.  I didn’t say that.  This year is different because McD is taking over the defensive play calling (which I’m happy about); we have no DTs under contract the following season;  smith is athletic as a 33b man can be;

They see what we see? Are you sure? If so, how?   Do they think gabe is a WR4?  Do they question whether or not he’s worth signing to an extension?  If so, how much is he worth?  Do they want an outside capable WR or do they want a dominant slot guy that we’ve been missing the last 2 years?  How do they view these prospects and which ones will be available?   I certainly don’t know the answer to any of these questions.  That’s what we see….

there’s a lot more to it…. But I was lazy because I was making my mother some lunch and didn’t want to serve it to her cold.

Not sure if this is what you meant, but I don’t think Bresee is a high motor undersized character jerk.  I think he’s a 2 way DT-  can play the pass and run that has great movement skills.  He’s 6’5 300-  he’s not a 1tech….. which is great.  Drafting a 1T @ 27 = 🤮

I believe so. Smith visited and had no lengthy injury history like Bresee which could play a factor

On my cell phone so sry for short reply.

I just had the feeling that you are saying that they are drafting defense again because that is what they do.

I disagree with that. I think they realize that they need to change that approach a little bit.

I am not saying that they won't draft defense in round 1, and I even want them to do so if that guy is clearly BPA. I am just saying that they will try to draft offense. I'd say Jordan Addison, some other WRs they like, or any OL they like are priorities. And only if they are not available, they go BPA on defense.

I also fully expect them to draft 2 offensive players with their first 3 picks.

I guess we will see soon ;)

The last DT we drafted late 1st round was John McCargo.

Yes we did bring in Mazi Smith. I’m being frank I’m not advocating for Smith at all like I was advocating for Kincaid. Smith just strikes me as a Bills pick at a Bills need.

I want exciting like everyone else. I would love to get Kincaid or Robinson just don’t think it’s realistic.

I believe the WRs are going to be drafted a lot lower than this board and media thinks as evidenced by 1 going in the 1st round. If the Bills don’t go DL I think they will go boring on the other side with a Bergeron or a Tippmann preferably after a trade down

So we did have a Smith visit.  I couldn't remember if the team met with him or not.  If you're looking for a big bodied run stuffer, that's what Smith is, but I think Bresee is a better fit and is a 3-down player.  I'd rather not see them take a DT in rd 1 period.
