947 Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 I too am a fan of that movie. Not very realistic they way the draft plays out, but fun anyway. 4 Quote
julian Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 I took my 2 sons to see it when it was in the theatre… my wife was like “ you’re so sad dragging your boys to that “ lol 8 Quote

Brianmoorman4jesus Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 It’s supposed to be a commercial for the draft and it’s supposed to be sort of cheesy..but it’s actually pretty good. I like it. 4 Quote
iccrewman112 Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 I loved it. ”they didn’t go to his 21st birthday party” 2 2 Quote
mrags Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Love the movie. Usually watch it every year just before the draft. Think I need to pop it in the old blu ray player tomorrow morning Quote

But I just noticed Tango and Cash is on and I haven’t seen this glorious movie in like like 20 years and I’m kinda into it. 1 1 Quote
sven233 Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 A Draft night eve tradition. Watching it now. It's not the best or most realistic movie, but being a Draft junkie, it's always a little tougher to rest the night before the Draft. So, this is the movie that goes on every Wednesday night before the Draft to set the mood. I enjoy it. 1 1 Quote
Gavin in Va Beach Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 Hey Buffalo gets a little love in the movie, instant classic! Fun fact, Costner was supposed to be the GM of the Bills but production costs were cheaper in Cleveland so they changed it. "Come on Tom, say it with me, you pancake eating motherf$%ker!" 4 Quote

Actually I think the Bills were supposed to be the team but they didn’t want to be used as the main story because they thought it might make them look bad. Idk. 3 Quote
Virgil Posted April 27, 2023 Posted April 27, 2023 I’m sorry, but how hard is it to get a trade chart value correct? The trades were so stupid and unrealistic. It ruined the whole movie for me. 1 Quote

Not too often you'll hear a line in a movie such as "well that solved your underwear problem" Quote

I could feel the old dude's sadness when his wife was like "You still have two, maybe three good years of football left" trying to keep him from retiring. 1 Quote
