It likely has to do with Rodgers not retiring after one season with the Jets.

That's a lot to give up. Obviously if he is in MVP form it's worth it. But he did not look good last year.

I don’t see it happening unless he gets injured. At worst he’s a game manager and throws 20-30TDs with less than 10 INt’s.

 

Jets are contenders next year.
