Bigvinny Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Mike Williams, everyone said he would start at Left Tackle for a decade. Quote

Didn’t work out that way. The league… there’s been so many but I’d go with Peter Warwick from Florida State for people old enough to remember him. I was excited about Watkins and I wanted him. What's sad is he clearly has the physical tools to be really good. He just doesn't have it between the ears. Not that he isn't smart, but he is strange, and doesn't have that drive and determination to be great. 2 Quote
Mikie2times Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Easier to look at Bills, a guy that stands out is James Hardy. I thought he was exactly what we needed at the time and he was out of the league in about 5 seconds. I know a lot of people liked him on here as well. 3 Quote

Funny thing about guys drafted in the 1st round named Mike Williams... That said, I was glad we got him rather than Bryant McKinnie. Quote

akcash Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 So many. Malcolm Kelly... I thought he was gonna pop off. Quote
The Frankish Reich Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 Tavon Austin. I thought he had truly special speed and quickness. It’s easy in hindsight, but I thought he would be what Tyreek Hill came to be. 3 Quote
Freddie's Dead Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 I really thought Brandon Reilly would stick somewhere. TD Mike fell off a cliff after he left. Christian Wade had that eye popping speed, but he lacked basic football IQ. Quote

But still, outside of his first two years in Buffalo he produced at a pretty low level even in the games he started. In 2017 and 2019 playing in high powered Rams and Chiefs offenses respectively he started 14 and 13 games but would not have even come close to 1000 yard seasons in either had he played the entire season in either. 1 Quote
Wizard Posted April 22, 2023 Posted April 22, 2023 (edited) I thought Aaron Curry was going to be the best in his draft class. I expected he would have a 10+ year career with some pro bowls appearances and all-pro selections. Edited April 22, 2023 by Wizard 3 Quote
